About the job

Are you motivated – together with the citizen – to create the best conditions for an active, independent and meaningful life through activity and training? Then you might be our new colleague.

We are seeking a physiotherapist who is passionate about rehabilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration. With us you will become part of a strong professional community where physiotherapists, occupational therapists as well as home care and the nursing service work closely together to support citizens' opportunities to master everyday life and live an active and independent life.

The position is 30-37 hours per week with commencement on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About Solrød Rehabilitation Center

Solrød Rehabilitation Center is part of the Center for Health and Care. We are a dynamic team of 29 employees consisting of 17 physiotherapists, 8 occupational therapists, 1 dietician, 1 nurse, 1 health professional coordinator, 1 therapist with quality and development hours, and a daily manager.

With us, we place high value on professionalism, community, and social cohesiveness. Solrød is a smaller municipality where we know each other across the board, and where close collaboration is an important part of everyday life. We depend on each other’s different professional backgrounds – and see it as a strength.

The Rehabilitation Center undertakes a wide range of training and rehabilitation initiatives for the municipality's citizens across diagnostic groups and within the Health Act, the Elderly Act, and the Social Services Act. We work from a health-educational perspective and with a focus on each citizen's goals, resources and possibilities.

We prioritize professional development and emphasize staying updated with the latest knowledge. Therefore we invest in courses, theme presentations, and knowledge sharing – both internally and externally.

We work self-directed, which means that you as a therapist have responsibility and freedom to plan your working hours in relation to the tasks you will undertake. We have high job satisfaction, a good and informal tone, with room for diversity – and not least a short path from idea to action.

About the position

The position is primarily anchored in our fixed multidisciplinary teams, where you together with physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as colleagues from home care and nursing contribute to coherent and holistic rehabilitation pathways.

A substantial part of your work takes place in the citizen’s own home. Here the focus is on supporting the citizen’s mastery of daily life and creating coherence between training, care and daily activities. The goal is that the citizen experiences a coordinated and meaningful course based on their own goals and resources.

You will also be part of our efforts for citizens linked to the Job Center. We have annually around 25 individual pathways focused on supporting citizens' return to the labor market. The effort is handled by a team of five physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Your primary workplaces will be in the citizens’ own homes and at the Rehabilitation Center.

We are looking for you who

  • has interest in and preferably experience with the geriatric citizen
  • values interdisciplinary sparring and collaboration
  • likely has experience from fixed teams or with everyday rehabilitation in home care
  • likely has experience with citizens linked to the Job Center
  • is professionally well-founded in both theory and practice
  • wants professional and organizational development and sees opportunities rather than limitations
  • can work independently and at the same time thrive in close collaboration with other professional groups
  • contributes positively and openly to the work community.

With us you get

  • a workplace in development where there is room for new ideas
  • opportunity for real influence and involvement in development work
  • engaged colleagues with a high professional level
  • close mono- and multidisciplinary collaboration and sparring
  • a thorough introduction and training, including through a mentoring scheme
  • opportunity to work with many different citizens and issues
  • a everyday life with a high degree of independence and the possibility to plan your own work
  • visible and approachable leadership.

If you would like to become part of a professionally strong community where rehabilitation happens close to the citizen’s everyday life, we look forward to hearing from you.

Employment is in accordance with applicable collective agreements. The salary range is 24,785 – 36,161 DKK per month, depending on education, qualifications and experience. Pension is also included.

Employment is in accordance with applicable collective agreements. In the Center for Health and Care we have a smoke-free working time.

In Solrød Municipality we make a difference together with the citizens. We work to realize the council’s vision that Solrød should be the best place to live and reside. As a workplace we are a community where we lift tasks across institutions and departments, and where you as an employee are an important co-player. We are in motion and always focus on learning and getting better. We take responsibility for solving tasks with a holistic view, and you as an employee have influence on the solution of tasks and on your workplace.
