About the job

Join a specialized and interdisciplinary team! Do you want to make a real difference for people with acquired brain injury? Are you interested in working with specialized rehabilitation, close interdisciplinary collaboration, and a daily life where professionalism, structure and relationships go hand in hand? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

A workplace in exciting development

We are looking for physiotherapists for permanent positions physically located at Bytoften with start date 1 December 2026.

We are in the midst of an exciting development. According to the health reform, the specialized area is being transferred from the municipality to the region as of 1 January 2027. This means you will become part of an organization in flux – with the opportunity to shape your professional mark, contribute to the development of specialized rehabilitation and be part of an important journey for citizens, employees and partners.

Who are we?

We work with citizens after completed hospital stay, where the length of stay depends on each citizen's development potential – typically three-month programs. In rehabilitation, we aim for the individual citizen to become active and participating in their future life based on their own resources, wishes and needs, and in close cooperation with relatives.

You will become part of a dynamic, engaged and interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social and health assistants, neuropsychologist, speech and language pathologist and chief physician. We work purposefully and specialized with rehabilitation plans for the individual citizen and focus on supporting citizens to become active participants in their own lives.

Your tasks

As a physiotherapist with us you will work with treatment and rehabilitation of citizens with acquired brain injury, who may have both physical and cognitive consequences. There is also a strong focus on interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration.

  • Treatment and specialized rehabilitation of citizens with complex neurological problems
  • Development and follow-up of individual rehabilitation plans in close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Involvement of the citizen and relatives as central partners throughout the process
  • Contribution to cross-sector collaboration with municipalities and other actors

About you

We are looking for you who

  • Are professionally engaged, curious and want to work with people with acquired brain injury and complex issues in a rehabilitative everyday life.
  • Are interested in, and preferably experienced with, neurorehabilitation and complex pathways
  • See neuro-educational strategies as a natural part of the task.
  • Have good collaboration skills, thrive in team work, seek sparring and value interdisciplinary cooperation.
  • Are proactive and able to independently plan and prioritize your own tasks.
  • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing and thrive in collaboration with citizens and relatives.
  • Move seamlessly between mon-disciplinary and interdisciplinary tasks, even when daily life requires quick shifts. At the same time, you actively contribute to a good working environment together with your interdisciplinary colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have a driving license, but not a requirement, as rehabilitation for some citizens may also take place in the citizen's own home.

What can you expect?

With us you enter a workplace where professionalism and human closeness go hand in hand. We offer:

  • A close interdisciplinary collaboration with the citizen at the center and the opportunity to closely follow citizens' development.
  • A thorough introductory program with professional guidance, supervision and competence development in relevant tasks.
  • A varied daily life with professional challenges and a focus on quality and evidence-based practice.
  • A good working environment with psychological safety, engaged colleagues, a positive atmosphere and room for togetherness.

Do you want to help set the standard for specialized neurorehabilitation? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
