Plant Manager for a smaller production unit

… in a role where you are practically the production manager for a smaller factory with two production lines and a total of 16 employees. You are close to your team and have overall responsibility for the daily operations and development.

As Plant Manager you report to the company COO, where it is your task to raise operational performance while ensuring a well-functioning organization around production. You do this through clear workflows, better capacity utilization and order in production.

The duties include

• operation of the factory from raw material receipt to shipment of finished goods
• production planning and capacity management in a daily environment with order fluctuations and short lead times
• leadership and motivation of hourly-paid employees
• continuous optimization of workflows, processes and structure
• close follow-up on KPIs and ongoing reporting to the COO
• responsibility for safety and environment as well as compliance with PGS Group's systems and standards

You also build on the strengthened collaboration among employees with a focus on togetherness, clarity and good cooperation across functions.

Background from production – and a desire to be close to the operations

You have several years of experience as a production manager or foreman – preferably from a smaller factory or unit, where you have had broad responsibility and been used to collaborating across production units. You see where production can be structured better, and translate improvement opportunities into concrete daily changes.

We expect that you have

• experience in leading hourly-paid employees
• insight into reporting and structure within a group framework
• experience with process optimization and efficiency improvements – preferably from a LEAN perspective
• an eye for results and understanding of the value of KPIs and production targets
• good IT understanding and solid experience with ERP and production management systems
• strong communication and language skills in both Danish and English
