Production Manager

Radiometer manufactures medical devices that help healthcare professionals worldwide to make quick and accurate diagnoses for critically ill patients. Our devices and accessories are developed and produced, among other places, in Brønshøj.

To our Sensor Cassette team we are seeking a Production Manager , who is motivated by people management, and LEAN. You will have a central role in daily operations and in the work to improve quality, capacity and delivery reliability, so we can meet the increasing demand for our products.

Production includes, among other things, automation, manual assembly, gluing, visual inspection and testing. The sensor cassettes are a central part of our diagnostic devices.

The job

You will lead an engaged evening shift of about 35 operators. Your working hours will primarily be in day and evening hours, typically between 14:00 and 22:00.

You will be responsible for the daily leadership and development of the team as well as ensuring a healthy and safe working environment. You will closely monitor the production’s performance and collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the organization.

Your areas of responsibility include, among others, to

• Lead and develop the team with a focus on well-being, motivation and performance
• Hold daily stand-up meetings and follow up on KPIs and production results
• Ensure a healthy and safe working environment
• Maintain a high quality level and ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
• Drive continuous improvements in collaboration with the team and relevant stakeholders
• Optimize production flow, productivity and cycle time
• Follow up on and maintain standardized work processes
• Conduct 1:1 conversations and ensure coaching, training and employee development

Qualifications

We imagine that you have an engineering degree or another relevant higher education. In addition, we would like you to:

• Have experience from a manufacturing environment
• Have leadership experience, preferably with hourly-paid employees
• Have experience from pharma, medico or another regulated industry
• Are motivated by working with LEAN and continuous improvements
• Proficient in Danish and English – both written and spoken
