Procurement and Tender Lawyer for the Building Agency

What can we offer you?

Bygningsstyrelsen is divided into three core businesses: Construction, Leasing and Asset Management and Facility Management. In the position you will be part of our Center for Construction, specifically the Unit Procurement and Contracts. In the unit we handle procurement law, contract law, ongoing contract management as well as supporting project management of the agency's construction projects. We also handle the IT contract area and governance law.

Procurement and Contracts consists of 20 engaged and skilled colleagues, of which 13 are based at our office in Copenhagen, and 7 are based at our office in Skanderborg.

As a lawyer in the unit your primary tasks will be to

• Plan and manage procurements
• Handle contract-law disputes
• Manage and follow up on contracts with contractors, suppliers and consultants
• Collaborate broadly internally and externally, especially with architects and engineers

You will thus have a large interface both inside and outside the agency – especially with architects and engineers. You will also have responsibility for your own cases, both regarding the legal and strategic aspects. Other ad hoc tasks in the position include, among others, advising on IT contracts, framework agreements and governance law.

Your competencies and qualifications

We imagine that you are educated cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur. It is expected that you have experience from previous positions. You manage to apply your professional knowledge, follow your cases through to the end, and you work in a solution-oriented way to create progress in your own cases.

We emphasize, among other things, that you

• Have experience with or knowledge of procurement processes and contract-law issues
• Thrive in an active role with juridical follow-up on entered contracts

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have knowledge of IT law and/or public administration law.

As a person you work structurally and solution-oriented with the cases and take ownership of process, task and strategy.

Employment terms

The position can be filled either at our office in Skanderborg or Copenhagen.

You are employed according to the then applicable agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

You are placed on the basis of seniority and experience as a specialist or senior consultant according to the applicable agreement, which you find HERE and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you find HERE.

Depending on your qualifications there is the possibility for negotiation of supplements. There will be an employer-funded pension scheme of 18.07%.
