About the job

Would you like to help create good, responsible and sustainable procurement that makes a difference for Kolding Municipality?

Do you have experience with tenders and procurement – and are you motivated by finding solutions that are economically sound, legally robust and support the municipality's ambitions for sustainability? Do you also have an interest in IT procurement and the special contractual and organizational considerations that follow? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

A day with tenders, procurement and IT

We are looking for a tendering consultant who will take responsibility for planning and carrying out procurements of goods and services as well as IT-related procurements, including SKI allocations.

You will have a broad contact surface in the organization and will work closely with the municipality's professional areas to translate needs into good, effective and sustainable tenders and procurements.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • plan and carry out procurements from needs assessment to contract signing. This also includes conducting market dialogues and contacting suppliers with a view to identifying new and more sustainable solutions
  • manage IT allocations on SKI's framework agreements in close cooperation with the municipality's IT organization
  • advise the municipality's professional areas on procurement rules, contractual relations and the possibilities for incorporating sustainable solutions

Sustainability in practice

Sustainability is a fundamental principle in Kolding Municipality. As a procurement consultant you will therefore help to explore how our purchases can support the municipality's sustainability policy, while ensuring good usable solutions, competition and financial responsibility.

You do not need to be a specialist in sustainable procurement. The most important thing is that you have an interest in the area and the desire to translate ambitions into concrete requirements and solutions.

We are looking for you who

  • have a relevant higher education in fields such as law, economics, public administration, procurement or similar and preferably experience with public tenders and procurement – or curiosity about the area
  • have knowledge of the procurement rules and can translate them into practical and pragmatic solutions
  • work in a structured, analytical and independent way and can maintain an overview of several processes at the same time
  • communicate clearly and can collaborate with colleagues and managers across professional disciplines
  • have an eye for both law, economics, quality, sustainability and the practical application of the solutions you help create
  • have experience with or are curious about SKI’s framework agreements, including IT allocations

You are curious about the organization's needs and good at translating complex rules and issues into solutions that are easy to understand and work with in practice. You take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish and thrive with both independent work, collaboration and professional sparring.

What you get with us

You will get an exciting and independent position with a broad contact surface and the opportunity to shape the municipality's future procurement and tendering – including work with sustainable solutions. We offer good opportunities for professional and personal development as well as flexible working arrangements with the option of working from home one day a week.

You will become part of Procurement and Tendering, which consists of 12 employees and is part of a department with a total of 20 employees distributed across three teams. We work with tenders and procurements in areas such as goods, services, IT and the social sector, as well as controlling and the procurement system. We emphasize collaboration, sparring and knowledge sharing and focus on continuous improvements and optimizations.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

Employment is carried out in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation.

The workplace is Ålegården 2, 6000 Kolding.
