About the job

Would you like to help secure the Defence's building of the digital operational transformation? Do you thrive on creating structure and supporting your colleagues in a complex procurement process and ensuring high quality in the results?

Then you may be our new procurement coordinator in Digital Operational Transformation.

About us

Digital and Operational Transformation (DOT) was established mid-2025 and is overall responsible for building the future digital and data-centric defence. In addition, we shall oversee the digital and operational transformation of the entire group.

In the coming period we will focus first on building a new digital backbone and subsequently begin application migration. This implies an increasing need for equipment and services.

To support the build of DOT we will establish a stable procurement process, which will handle all material acquisitions, as well as management of the acquired materials.

The Danish Defence Ministry's Materiel- and Procurement Agency employs thousands of staff, and has activities both in Denmark and abroad. We are an organization with great responsibility and broad collaboration across professions and areas.

About the position

You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for procurements to support the DOT program. You will play an important role in ensuring effective controls and support to ensure procurement processes, on-time delivery and invoicing, as well as high quality in data and documentation. With your structured approach you help ensure that the overall Procure to Pay process is carried out in the DOT program.

We work in a dynamic environment where development and change are part of everyday life. Therefore it is important that you are adaptable, detail-oriented and have a continuous optimization mindset. You will have close contact with both colleagues and disponents and capacity manager (KCM), and therefore understanding their needs and focusing on service is essential.

Your main tasks

  • Support disponents and the KCM in establishing the contract basis
  • Create contract needs in Atlas
  • Report extraction and follow-up on open orders
  • Create and maintain cases in DevOps
  • Report extraction and follow-up on consultant services
  • Contribute to follow-up on invoice questions
  • Contribute to documenting the procurement process in the program

About you

We are looking for a colleague who has a flair for structure and detail, and who thrives in an environment with fixed frameworks and high task speed. You are service-minded, have technical understanding, are meticulous and work independently and in a structured way, but also value the collegial community.

We expect that you have a relevant education in, for example, procurement, logistics, economics or similar.

We would like you to

  • have experience with procurement and be familiar with SAP
  • have good Excel skills and be proficient in the Office suite
  • be curious, engaged and eager to develop yourself in a public organization

Terms of employment

Employment is pursuant to the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for office clerks, lab technicians and IT employees (HK) in the state.

Depending on your qualifications there is a possibility for negotiating a supplement. There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Ballerup.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout your employment.

You have as an employee an obligation to perform service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with the aim of participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.
