About the job
The opportunity
Founded in 2016, Mover is a Danish logistics technology company on a mission to change logistics for good, reducing waste and making people’s lives better. Are you passionate about building great software products? Do you obsess over your customers?
Are you interested in working with the latest state-of-the-art AI-driven development practices in order to invent and simplify? Would you like to have an outsized impact in a small Copenhagen B2B SaaS company, and make your mark on the Nordics last-mile logistics market? If so, Mover might be the right place for you.
We are currently brewing up new product ideas, and in need of strong product managers. We are looking for someone willing to take ownership of specific commercial goals and realize them with a great product. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a backlog. We need a product leader who enjoys spending time with customers, challenging assumptions, making difficult prioritization decisions, and working closely with engineering and leadership to shape the future of our last-mile platform. If that’s something for you, then please read on!
Role overview and responsibilities
As a Product Manager you will
- Turn strategy into reality: Launch a new B2B SaaS product in the first 12 months.
- Take ownership and deliver results on revenue, gross profit and related commercial goals for your product.
- Lead a small product team in a matrix-style org structure (not a people manager, but a team leader).
- Use AI to its full potential - in the product development process, and in the product itself.
- Perform market research and help drive our continuous discovery process.
- Talk to customers. A lot. Both existing and prospects.
- Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
- Take a primarily data-driven approach to product development and product operations.
- Have a real, measurable impact on the daily lives of thousands of drivers across Europe.
Your mindset
- You are driven by purpose and want to contribute to our mission of changing logistics for good.
- You are driven, tenacious, and can work independently. You think big and insist on the highest standards. You have a bias for action and accomplish more with less. You listen attentively, speak candidly, and treat others respectfully.
- You have strong opinions and no issue voicing them. However, once a decision has been made, you commit wholly to the path forward.
- You can sell a vision to customers.
What success looks like (12 months)
- You have successfully launched a new product.
About you
- We imagine you have 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, but we are also interested in equivalent qualifications from marketing, sales or other commercial functions, with relevant project management experience and customer obsession.
- Preferably experience in launching (not just operating) a new B2B SaaS product.
- The ability and curiosity to quickly learn a complex domain (last-mile logistics).
- The ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
- Experience working with cross-functional product teams.
- Understanding of software life-cycle processes: How software is built, maintained and scaled.
What we offer
- A high degree of responsibility from day one, working alongside experienced colleagues.
- A steep learning curve in a fast-moving technology company.
- Autonomy, trust, and support to do the best work of your career.
- An open, collaborative environment with talented peers across multiple functions.
- Aaaand, a great lunch, modern offices and a cool location at Islands Brygge in the center of Copenhagen…
Mover’s values
We move fast. We expect people to own problems end-to-end, not wait to be told what to do. You know best, so you need to bring a lot of creativity. We obsess over the people who use our software, from logistics planners to drivers, and we would rather ship a small improvement this week than a perfect one next year. We are direct and honest with each other, including about our own mistakes, and we hold a high bar for quality.
- Lead with integrity. We believe that integrity is a reciprocal value. It means treating others as we wish to be treated. With respect, honesty, and sound ethics
- Be accountable. We embrace freedom in decision-making, initiative, and actions while accepting full responsibility for outcomes and results
- Push boundaries. We challenge norms, innovate, and move fast to drive changes to continuously improve things for everyone affected by our products and services
- Play, as a team. We are serious without taking ourselves too seriously, and balance having fun with achieving great things, together
