Do you want to contribute to developing the digital solutions that support AL Sydbank and the other member banks in Bankdata's work on debt collection? We are seeking a Product Owner who can translate business needs, legislation and strategy into value-creating IT solutions.

You will become a central sparring partner for both the business and the development team and will be responsible for ensuring that our debt collection solutions develop in the right direction. The role gives great influence on product strategy, priorities and decisions in a complex area where credit, law and IT meet.

About the position

As Product Owner you will be responsible for the ongoing development of our debt collection solutions. You ensure that the backlog reflects the business needs, and that development resources are used where they create the most value.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Set the direction for the product's development and maintain the roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze and prioritize requirements from the business.
• Translate business and legal needs into clear and usable requirements for the development team.
• Ensure progress, prioritization and decision-making power across stakeholders.
• Contribute to the implementation, anchoring and knowledge sharing of new solutions.

You will become part of a close collaboration between AL Sydbank, Bankdata and the other member banks, where relationships and shared solutions are crucial for success.

About you

You thrive at the intersection of business and IT and are motivated by creating structure in complex tasks. With a strong methodological approach within Agile and Scrum you ensure progress, prioritization and value-creating solutions. You work independently, take responsibility and manage to deliver results through collaboration with many stakeholders. Experience from an IT development environment is essential, and familiarity with the financial sector is an advantage.

• Have experience as Product Owner, business developer, project manager or a similar role within IT development.
• Are strong at translating complex needs into concrete requirements and prioritizations.
• Thrive with many stakeholders and are able to create direction and momentum through clear communication.
• Have a business-minded mindset and can balance wishes, needs and resources in your prioritizations.
• Quickly able to get up to speed in new subject areas. Experience from the financial sector, credit or debt collection is an advantage but not a requirement.

The workplace is primarily anchored at Bankdata in Aarhus with one day per week in Credit, Business Development at AL Sydbank's headquarters in Aabenraa
