For our client DILLING A/S Randstad is looking for reliable and quality-conscious employees for a 'try & hire' process with a view to permanent employment.

DILLING is experiencing strong growth and is expanding production at their historic dyeing plant in Bredsten near Vejle - a workplace with a focus on people, responsible production and good collaboration.

We are looking for you who have the right hands-on skills and who thrive with physical work in an environment where quality and sustainability are prioritized.

About the job

You will become part of a team of around 40 employees, where everyone pulls together.

As a production worker you will be involved in the dyeing plant7s processes, and you will receive thorough training on the machines and workflows.

Your primary tasks will be

• Refilling and emptying of dyeing machines and drying machines.
• Handling of fabric and roll goods (manual work).
• Quality control of the finished textiles.
• Stamping of orders and miscellaneous production tasks.
• Driving a forklift for internal handling of goods (if you have a certificate).

It is a physically demanding job with an active daily routine – and where the quality of what you do is decisive.

Your profile

It is not a requirement that you have experience from the textile industry or are a skilled tradesperson. The most important is your attitude to the work and your willingness to learn.

• You are in good physical shape: The job requires that you walk and stand a lot during a shift, and there is manual handling of heavy cloth rolls.
• You speak and understand Danish: As safety and thorough training are essential, it is a requirement that you master Danish in speech.
• You are reliable: Your colleagues on the team depend on you being there on time.
• You are quality-conscious and have an eye for detail: It is natural for you to react if you notice a mistake.
• Forklift certificate: It is a big advantage if you have a forklift license, but it is not an absolute requirement.

Working hours

Night shift: 4-day week from Monday evening to Friday morning at 22:00–07:00.

Training for the night shift will take place on the day shift for 3-4 weeks.

We offer

You will be employed through Randstad in a try & hire temporary position for 16 weeks.

This means you start as a temporary employee, but with a view to permanent employment at DILLING if the chemistry and effort are right.

• Salary according to collective agreement (3F/DM&Τ) including pension and free-choice account.
• Relevant allowances for evening or night work.

• Canteen scheme on all shifts.

About DILLING A/S

DILLING is a family-owned textile company founded in 1916.

We produce clothing from organic natural materials without harmful chemicals and sell exclusively online on our own webshops in 12 countries, from which we ship products to 26 markets.

Our dyeing plant is based in Bredsten near Vejle and has roots back to 1713. The dye house has great strategic significance and is a cornerstone in our supply chain.

Approximately 450 tons of fabric are processed per year at the dye house. The dyed fabric forms a central element in a long and complex value chain, which is why there is a strong focus on quality in all aspects of the work.

The final product is sold, besides customers in Denmark, to all of Europe and the USA.

During 2024 the dye house has been expanded to future-proof it in terms of machines, energy consumption and new processes.

The company currently generates a high three-digit million turnover and is led by the 4th generation, Morten Dilling Bertelsen. The company has about 380 employees across Herning, Bredsten, Lithuania and Ukraine.
