Production worker for our iron production – Havehandel.dk (Holstebro)

Do you have your hands properly screwed on, and do you like working with machines and producing products where you can see the results of your work? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for!

Havehandel.dk is growing, and we manufacture a long range of our popular iron products ourselves, including lawn edges, round raised beds and raised beds to special sizes.

We are now looking for a new colleague for our iron department in Tvis near Holstebro. You will become part of a company with up to 50 employees in peak season, where we place great emphasis on a good working environment, strong team spirit and an informal tone.

About the position

You will be working with the production of our iron products – from raw materials to finished products that are sent to customers all over Denmark.

The work consists of a mix of fixed production tasks and more varied tasks, where you will have the opportunity to learn different machines and work processes.

You will among other things be involved in cutting and bending iron, rolling round raised beds, welding and operating and setting production machines.

You do not need to be a trained blacksmith or have experience with metal work. We provide thorough training.

The most important thing for us is that you enjoy practical work, are efficient and show up reliably for work.

Your tasks

• Manufacturing of lawn edges, round raised beds and other iron products for our webshop
• Cutting, bending and rolling iron
• Operating and setting different production machines
• Possibly welding and other tasks in production
• Quality control of the products you manufacture
• Packaging and preparation of finished products as needed
• Collaboration with your colleagues to ensure efficient production

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Have your hands properly screwed on and enjoy practical work
• Are reliable, efficient and have a good work ethic
• Are keen to learn to operate different machines
• Can work independently, but also thrive in a small team
• Are meticulous and take pride in delivering a proper piece of work
• Can read and speak Danish

Experience from a metal workshop, metal production or other production work is an advantage, but by no means a requirement.

What do we offer?

• A fixed full-time position in a growing company
• A practical job with both routine tasks and varied work
• Opportunity to learn different machines and production processes
• Thorough onboarding from your colleagues
• A workplace with up to 50 employees in peak season
• A strong collegial community where we prioritise well-being and togetherness
• Social events where we get to know each other better across departments
• Flexible working hours and the possibility of extra hours in peak season

We are continuously working to develop our own production and are exploring possibilities to invest in new machines and technology in the coming years.

Working hours and employment terms

• Peak season (March–May): 39 hours per week with the possibility of extra hours
• Other months (June–February): 36 hours per week
• Flexible working hours between 07:00 and 17:00 by agreement and adapted to production
• Some work on public holidays around Easter is to be expected
• Type of employment: Fixed full-time position
• Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement
• Workplace: Smedegårdvej 2, 7500 Holstebro (Tvis)
• Salary: According to qualifications
