Production Manager for DS Stålprofil

As a member of the management team, you will play a central role in strengthening the company's competitiveness through efficient operations, digitization, automation and managerial development. You will have the responsibility for a strong organization with skilled leaders and employees and the opportunity to influence both daily operations and the strategic decisions that will secure DS Stålprofil's continued position as one of the industry's leading companies.

As Production Manager you will have overall responsibility for production, quality and logistics at DS Stålprofil's factory in Hobro.

You report to the CEO and are part of the company's management team, where you actively contribute to the strategic development of the company. At the same time you ensure efficient operations and continued development of the organization.

You will have responsibility for about 45 employees spread across production, quality and logistics. You have direct management responsibility for the quality manager, a production manager and the administrative key functions around production.

The position ranges from daily leadership and performance management to development of production through digitization, automation and continuous improvements. You will thus have a decisive role in ensuring that DS Stålprofil remains among the industry's most efficient and competitive companies.

Your main areas of responsibility are to

• Ensure safe, stable and efficient operations with high quality and on-time delivery.
• Lead, develop and motivate managers and employees.
• Drive improvements with focus on productivity, quality and resource utilization.
• Develop production through digitization, automation and process optimization.
• Further develop the company's quality work and high standards.
• Ensure a safe working environment with focus on well-being, engagement and zero accidents.
• Contribute to investment, automation and development projects.
• Ensure constructive collaboration with union representatives and the occupational health and safety organization.
• Be responsible for budgets, KPIs and follow-up on results.
• Actively contribute to the company's strategic development as a member of the management team.

Who are you?

You have experience with production management and proven results in operations, optimization and development of organizations.

You likely have a background from a production company where you have had management responsibility for both people, processes and changes.

In addition, we expect that you

• Have experience in managing both managers, specialists and hourly-paid employees.
• Have achieved strong results with Lean, process optimization and change management.
• Possess solid business understanding and insight into production economics.
• Have experience with quality management and preferably logistics.
• Are strong in ERP, BI and digital solutions.
• Master Danish and English at a professional level.
