The Center for Family- and Adult Interventions in Bornholm’s Regional Municipality is seeking a professional pedagogical coordinator for Family Care and the Social-pedagogical Team, with an starting date of 4 January 2027.

We are looking for you who are passionate about social-pedagogical professionalism, thrive in close dialogue with employees, and have an eye for both each individual employee’s development and the team’s overall task solving. You are good at building relationships, taking the initiative for professional sparring, and at the same time working in a structured way with coordination, follow-up, and quality.

Family Care and the Social-pedagogical Team are brought together in one department under the Center for Family- and Adult Interventions in Bornholm’s Regional Municipality. The Social-pedagogical Team is part of the center’s treatment interventions and consists of 17 social pedagogues and visitation consultants who carry out various social- and special-pedagogical interventions under the Child Act.

Our tasks include, among others, practical pedagogical support, contact person interventions, supported and supervised visits, support to parents with placed children, and youth support. We work relationally, affirmatively, and resource-focused with a basis in the child’s perspective and the needs of the individual family. Our professional practice is built, among other things, on neuroaffective developmental psychology, mentalizing approaches, low arousal, and a trauma-aware approach.

We are a developing team, where we want to strengthen our shared professional foundation, develop the quality of our interventions, and create coherence between professional knowledge, our daily practice, and the goals for each intervention. We are also part of a center that is in the early stages of developing and translating relational welfare into practice. This means that we are focused on strengthening relationships, collaboration, and shared responsibility across professions and interventions.

We are on a joint development journey, where we will investigate, learn, and create new possibilities to succeed with our core task for the benefit of children, young people, and families. We place a high priority on professional reflection, knowledge sharing, and cross-professional collaboration. At the same time, we work purposefully with psychological safety, because we believe we develop best when we can be curious, ask questions, share doubts, and learn from each other’s experiences.

Your role as a professional pedagogical coordinator

As a professional pedagogical coordinator you will play a central role in supporting employees and ensuring professional quality, systematic work, and coherence in the team’s task solving. We seek a coordinator who actively seeks dialogue with employees, takes an interest in their everyday work, and initiates conversations and professional sparring. You ask into the tasks, listen to the employees’ perspectives, and contribute reflections, professional assessments, and new courses of action when tasks are complex or require a different approach.

You should be able to create a space where employees feel met and professionally supported, and where there is room to discuss both what works and what is challenging. You actively contribute to a culture characterized by psychological safety, professional curiosity, and shared responsibility for the quality of the work.

At the same time, you must have a systematic view of the team’s total tasks. You create an overview of the task portfolio, follow up on ongoing interventions, and support a reasonable distribution and prioritization of tasks. You have an eye for the connection between the nature of tasks, the employees’ competencies, and the team’s total resources, and you are alert to when adjustments or new priorities are needed.

An important part of your role is to support each employee’s professional development while also contributing to the team developing a common professional stance. You must therefore be able to move between individual sparring, shared professional development, and the coordination of the daily task solving.

You will work closely with the head of the Social-pedagogical Team, where you together work for a clear professional direction, high quality in the interventions, and good conditions for employees’ task solving and well-being.

• Skabe og vedligeholde et systematisk overblik over teamets opgaver, igangværende indsatser og behov for opfølgning.
• Koordinere og prioritere opgaver med blik for medarbejdernes kompetencer, opgavernes karakter og teamets samlede ressourcer.
• Følge op på, om indsatserne gennemføres i overensstemmelse med deres formål og mål.
• Understøtte kvaliteten i dokumentation, statusbeskrivelser og faglige vurderinger.
• Bidrage til struktur, tydelige arbejdsgange og sammenhæng i opgaveløsningen.

Arbejde med psykologisk tryghed og samarbejde

• Bidrage aktivt til et arbejdsfællesskab, hvor medarbejderne oplever faglig opbakning og tryghed ved at bringe spørgsmål, udfordringer og forskellige perspektiver frem.
• Have blik for sammenhængen mellem faglig kvalitet, medarbejdernes trivsel og teamets samlede arbejdsmiljø.
• Understøtte dialog og samarbejde, når der er behov for at justere opgaver eller finde nye løsninger.
• Styrke det tværfaglige samarbejde med myndighed og øvrige samarbejdspartnere.

Samarbejde med lederen

• Indgå i en tæt og løbende dialog med lederen om faglige prioriteringer, opgavefordeling og udviklingsbehov.
• Bidrage til at omsætte fælles mål og beslutninger til en tydelig praksis i teamet.
• Understøtte sammenhængen mellem teamets faglige udvikling, behandlingsindsatsernes formål og den daglige opgaveløsning.

Hvem er du?

• Har en relevant social- eller specialpædagogisk uddannelse, eller solid erfaring fra det socialpædagogiske børne- og ungeområde.
• Har et stærkt fagligt fundament og interesse for at udvikle både egen og andres faglighed.
• Er relationelt stærk, lyttende og nysgerrig og tager aktivt initiativ til dialog og faglig sparring.
• Kan skabe tillid og bidrage til psykologisk tryghed uden at gå på kompromis med faglige krav og tydelighed.
• Arbejder systematisk og struktureret og har evnen til at skabe overblik over mange opgaver og forskellige hensyn.
• Kan prioritere og koordinere med blik for både medarbejdernes kompetencer og opgavernes faglige krav.
• Er god til at formidle faglige budskaber både mundtligt og skriftligt.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week.
