Professionally skilled and engaged leader of the family workshop

Ishøjgård seeks, as of 1/1-2027, a professionally skilled leader for the Family Workshop at Ishøjgård.

As the leader of the Family Workshop, you will head the daily management of the department. The Family Workshop has about 120 registered families and handles tasks within both family treatment, practical pedagogical support in the home, shorter-term guidance programs, supported visits, and open anonymous counseling for families with children from 0-18 years. The Family Workshop also offers an intensive program for vulnerable pregnant women and parents with children up to 3 years old. We also continuously develop and offer group programs with varying themes and target groups.

At the Family Workshop there are 10 skilled family therapists, all with relevant educational backgrounds. The methodological approach of the Family Workshop has the child in focus in relation to the significant adults around the child. We work holistically and from a systemic reference framework supplemented by newer developmental theories, theories of attachment, and the latest knowledge about children and young people with diagnoses within the autism spectrum and ADHD.

Great emphasis is placed on planning and carrying out family treatment in close collaboration with the family and in interdisciplinary collaboration with relevant partners.

As the leader at the Family Workshop, you will join a leadership team that together has the task of strengthening Ishøjgård as a single house with three interconnected professional functions, for the benefit of the children, young people, and families who daily visit the farm.

Your job function

This presupposes

• that you have experience with or knowledge of distributed leadership and co-leadership as an organizational form.
• that you can facilitate good development and decision-making processes.
• that you lead as an ambassador for a good working environment
• that you are a present, empathetic, and action-oriented line manager.
• that you have solid knowledge about family treatment, including knowledge of systemic-narrative thinking, attachment theories, autism/ADHD and other relevant theories and methods.
• that you can collect, organize and share data that can be useful for supporting the professional staff's task-solving and decision-making processes.

Examples of tasks and areas of responsibility

• Personnel and budget responsibility.
• Sparring with the staff.
• Agreements, follow-up and dissolution of external family treatment.
• Facilitation of method visitation, PM meetings, and case reviews.
• Close collaboration with the leader from the school and support placement at IHG.
• Close collaboration with leaders from the Center for Children and Prevention.
• Visitation to the Family Workshop.
• Close collaboration with the Family Workshop's administrative coordinator.

• The Family Workshop, which offers family treatment programs and other preventive measures for families from Ishøj.
• The School at Ishøjgård - a special school with a capacity of 36 students with varying levels of difficulties emotionally, socially and cognitively.
• The supported residence with 7 places, currently with 28 children enrolled.
