The position

The Project- & Installations Manager reports directly to the technical lead for Northern Europe.

The Project- & Installations Manager will be independently responsible for the Danish projects department consisting of 2 project managers and 12 plant installers.

The position entails overall responsibility to contribute to the company’s Danish projects from the sales phase until the finished installation is commissioned and can be handed over to the service organization.

Additionally, you are responsible for monitoring project finances and ensuring delivery and quality plans are followed.

Other tasks

• Leadership and motivation of the department's staff
• Overall planning and management of projects, including allocation of resources
• Recalculation and optimization in collaboration with the controller and sales
• Responsibility for training, guidance and education of installers
• Conducting employee appraisals and salary negotiations (collective agreement)
• Support sales with customer visits, definition of solutions and preparation of offers
• Streamlining of project execution

The Project- & Installations Manager is expected

• to build trust internally within the organization, and ensure continued customer satisfaction externally
• to ensure compliance with project timelines, project finances, delivery and quality plans
• to ensure good day-to-day management and further development of the organization
• to ensure achievement of budgets and department KPIs

The candidate

You are probably currently working as a technical manager, project manager, installation manager or similar with responsibility for both projects and the operation of a department.

Familiarity with agriculture and DeLaval in general is advantageous but not required.

You are a skilled and motivating leader and have solid management experience as well as project management experience. You have a good technical background, can maintain an overview of many projects and are a good sparring partner and problem solver.

You are robust, have impact and can negotiate and create progress in the projects. At the same time you work in a structured and systematic way.

As a person you are ambitious, hardworking and result-oriented.

You also have good English skills and live within commuting distance to the office in Kolding.
