In Boenhed 20 we are looking for social educators and pedagogical assistants who want to help create safe, meaningful and good everyday lives for adults with significant developmental disabilities and complex support needs.

In a few months we will move into completely new premises in Landsbyen Sølund. Here nine residents will have their home, and we will have our own activity offering.

That means you will not be hired into a finished culture.

You will be part of creating it.

We are already underway

Right now we are temporarily housed in Gl. Rye. Here four residents live, and we are about 30 staff members.

When we move back to Landsbyen Sølund, Boenhed 20 becomes a new residence with

• 9 residents
• own activity offering
• brand new physical premises
• a pedagogical practice we will develop together
• a culture we will be part of creating

It is a special opportunity for you to be with us from the start and have real influence on how we work, collaborate and create good days for the residents.

Our most important task is to create good and meaningful lives for the residents.

We work, for example, with the starting point of Gentle Teaching and neuropedagogy , where the relationship, presence and the individual human needs and perspectives are the driving force.

We believe that good pedagogy is created in the relationship and in the community we are part of.

Therefore there must be room for professionalism, curiosity, different perspectives, humor and new ideas.

Your daily life with us

As a social educator or pedagogical assistant you will become an important part of the residents’ daily life.

You will, among other things, do

• create safety, presence and meaningful activities
• work with relationships and pedagogical goals
• create calm, structure and predictability
• support the residents in their wishes, needs and possibilities
• document observations and professional reflections
• be part of a close pedagogical and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• contribute to the development of our activity offering
• help develop the culture and the pedagogical practice in Boenhed 20

You do not need to know everything from day one. We are looking for people who want to learn, develop and be involved.

Working hours

The position is on 30-37 hours per week .

We work with mixed day and evening shifts

• Day shift: 07:00-15:00
• Evening shift: 14:30-22:30
• Weekend: work every other weekend
