Project Manager for a contracting company in shell construction, infrastructure and utilities

Our client is seeking an experienced project manager who works with civil engineering projects with in-house production.

It is primarily for main contractors who execute a wide range of civil engineering projects with projects

in the size of 5-50 million DKK. The projects range from traditional to complex civil works,

where we contribute with strong competencies in planning, coordination and execution.

Your responsibility is to be on the projects where you have a strong team consisting of a contracting manager, a process manager,

foreman and in-house production. You will typically be responsible for several projects, and your primary tasks are

timelines, financial follow-up and construction meetings.

High professionalism and quality as well as meeting deadlines are natural benchmarks.

You will have a daily routine where you are primarily present on the projects at sites located on Zealand.

The position

As a project manager you will become part of a well-functioning team that has a superb collaboration in a sometimes

the company is on, so current and future projects, organization and processes are supported in the best possible way.

You are part of ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable requirements for quality, the working environment

and the environment, and you will be a part of the daily production on the projects.

You will be the natural link between projects, production and collaborators.

Your daily work will consist of management and control of civil engineering projects from start-up to handover, and as a project manager

you are responsible for ensuring coherence between planning, economy and production.

You support the foreman, process manager, contracting manager and the performing staff on site

to create the best framework for that the projects are completed safely, efficiently and with high quality.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Ensure progress in the projects through good dialogue at the construction meetings
• Ensure that the projects are always at the forefront of the next process in the construction, on site
• Ensure there is good collaboration on the site with the main contractor so everyday life becomes more enjoyable and the relationships are strengthened
• Ensure that there is always documentation and invoicing for the performed (additional) work

Invoicing, site measurements and financial reporting are a very important part of your everyday life. You ensure

planning and management of civil engineering projects – from contract to handover. You continuously review project economics,

budget follow-up and focus on cost control. Scheduling and follow-up on progress as well as

contract management and handling of extra work

You will ensure there is development and optimization of the construction process. Sparring with management and the organization

together you also ensure ongoing follow-up on occupational health, safety and quality across the projects.

The primary expectations of you are

Your responsibility is to be on the projects where you have a strong team consisting of an contracting manager, a process manager, foreman

and in-house production. You will typically be responsible for several projects, and your primary tasks are timelines, financial

follow-up, construction meetings and timely delivery of quality.

You have documented experience with +5 years of experience and currently hold a similar position. You are good at creating

solutions and structure for your colleagues' daily lives and you perform the work with timely diligence.

• Have solid experience with project management from the construction and civil engineering industry
• Have experience with anchoring processes and creating momentum in the organization
• Work in a very structured manner and keep an overview – even when everyday life is busy
• Communicate clearly and manage to build good relationships across the organization
• Have a natural focus on improvements and development

At the same time you can help assemble and build your own production team with contracting management,

foremen and performing staff. For the right profile there is thus a unique opportunity to put your

You have experience with laws and safety requirements within the construction and civil engineering industry.

As a person you show independent initiative in relation to your tasks, you are good at collaboration, and

you see opportunities where others see limitations.
