About the job

Would you like to help shape tomorrow's wastewater and climate adaptation solutions for Denmark's largest utility?

Artelia has just become part of HOFOR's framework agreement for wastewater projects – an agreement that secures us access to some of the most exciting and complex assignments in the utilities sector. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with urban development in the Copenhagen metropolitan area and help deliver solutions that create value for the environment, residents and customers.

With us you work locally in Copenhagen, and as part of the Artelia Group with more than 10,000 employees you will also have the opportunity to become involved in exciting international projects. It gives you both perspective and the opportunity to develop in an environment where we believe that you realize your potential best when you have a large influence on your working life.

Your role

As a project manager you will be responsible for leading the projects from the initial planning phases through to execution and evaluation. You will work closely with our internal team as well as customers and external partners to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and within budget.

In the job you will, among other things

  • Be the project manager for wastewater and climate adaptation projects under HOFOR's framework agreement, as well as for other utilities and public authorities
  • Plan and coordinate tasks such as separation, basin projects, LAR solutions and renovation of drainage systems
  • Contribute to technical solutions focusing on both function, operation and environmental considerations
  • Engage in dialogue with authorities, utilities and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate tasks with internal teams and our outsourcing unit in the Philippines.

Your profile

We value that you have experience with utility tasks and thrive working across disciplines and geographies. You will have close collaboration with colleagues across the country – and at the same time benefit from our strong international network. We envision that you:

  • Are a trained engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in drainage and climate adaptation
  • Have documented experience as a project manager and have worked on projects for utilities
  • Have an overview, can prioritise and create momentum in complex projects
  • Are collaborative and thrive on coordinating across disciplines and geographies
  • Can communicate clearly and precisely – both orally and in writing in Danish and English

We have a close collaboration with our design engineers and CAD experts in Artelia, the Philippines. You will therefore gain experience in managing tasks in a global setup.

Wastewater & Climate in Artelia

You will become part of our Copenhagen office, where we work across the whole of Artelia and collaborate closely with colleagues in both Denmark and internationally. We are an informal, but ambitious department that is passionate about delivering quality solutions in wastewater and climate adaptation, and we place a high priority on knowledge sharing and mutual sparring.
