Project Manager in the metal industry

Project Manager in the metal industry with experience from construction

For Ravnsgaard Metal we are seeking an experienced project manager for their department in Herning. You will be responsible for projects from quotation to final delivery and will act as the interface between the customer, production, subcontractors and assembly.

A substantial part of the duties for this position includes steel deliveries to the construction industry, but the project portfolio also includes technical production, service and assembly projects for Ravnsgaard's industrial customers. You should therefore thrive in a varied daily routine and different customer requirements.

Your tasks

• Review inquiries, drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Plan and manage projects with responsibility for time, budget, procurement and quality.
• Coordinate technical clarifications, production, subcontractors, transport and assembly.
• Be the customer's primary contact and follow up on progress, changes and additional work.
• Ensure relevant quality and delivery documentation, including requirements under EN 1090 and ISO 3834, where relevant.
• Drive both construction projects and tasks for industrial customers safely from order to delivery.

Your profile

• You have experience in project management of metal and construction projects.
• You have a relevant technical education or a professional background from the metal industry with a technical upper-level qualification.
• You have solid knowledge of EN 1090 execution classes up to and including EXC 3, ISO 3834 and associated documentation.
• You can read technical drawings and have experience with calculations, procurement, schedules and financial follow-up.
• You work in a structured way, communicate clearly and take responsibility to complete tasks.
• You thrive both in the office, in production and when visiting customers and building sites.

We offer

• An independent project manager role with great influence.
• Varied projects for customers in both the construction and industrial sectors.
• Close collaboration with skilled colleagues in engineering, fabrication and welding, CNC machining and assembly.
• An informal workplace with short decision-making paths as well as salary and terms according to qualifications.
