About the job

Would you make a noticeable difference to everyday life in the municipality's buildings? We are seeking a project manager who can translate technical knowledge into well-functioning buildings, a good indoor climate and lower energy consumption. Ventilation and indoor climate will be your professional focal point, but you will also have a broad role within energy optimization and general technical building operation.

The position may be of interest to you who already have solid experience, and to you who are earlier in your career and would like to develop with responsibility, sparring and a varied portfolio of tasks. You will have great freedom to plan the work yourself and choose how the tasks are solved. We expect, in return, that you take ownership, make professional decisions and follow the tasks through to completion.

Your everyday life with us

You will have independent responsibility for the technical installations in your own property portfolio and at the same time work across the municipality's buildings when your specialist knowledge is needed. You have a clear mandate and great influence on prioritization, method and solutions.

You handle both urgent and planned maintenance and energy optimization tasks, and you can also expect to assist with advisory services and project reviews on some of our larger construction projects. Tasks are often solved together with the rest of the team, where we leverage our various professional competences.

We can offer

  • A dynamic workplace with an informal and humorous tone of voice, where the social and collegial atmosphere is in the foreground.
  • A strengths-based approach to leadership and collaboration, where we base our actions on opportunities and on what gives us energy and job satisfaction.
  • Exciting tasks within maintenance projects, building surveys and technical advisory services, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to energy optimization and service of various technical systems.
  • Freedom to explore and develop your professional competencies in a supportive and inspiring environment.
  • The opportunity to collaborate with skilled colleagues and be part of a dedicated team that is passionate about making a difference for our local community.
  • A family-friendly workplace with flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.

The professional match

It is important that you have knowledge of ventilation and indoor climate and can apply it in practice. Your educational path may vary. For example, you may have a background as a mechanical engineer, installer, energy technologist, engineer, ventilation technician or something similar.

You have

  • Solid knowledge of technical installations and the ability to operate and maintain complex systems.
  • A technical background, preferably from the ventilation industry.
  • A structured and systematic approach to work with a focus on ensuring efficient solutions and high quality.
  • Knowledge of FM systems and comfortable working in MS Office.

The team and the workplace

We are a cross-functional service center with Facility Management services and construction projects as core tasks. The responsibility for all municipal properties and areas is consolidated in the Center for Areas and Properties.

In Team Energy and Technology, which consists of 6-7 employees with different technical backgrounds, we handle operation and maintenance of most technical installations, from electrical and plumbing installations to elevators, swimming pool technology, sewer and pump wells. Our goal in the team is to achieve reliable installations, improve the buildings' indoor climate and optimize energy consumption.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
  • You have broad knowledge of technical installations and are curious to acquire new knowledge in the technical areas.
