Project Manager for the Property Projects Unit in the Center for Real Estate

About the position and the unit

The Center for Properties in the Capital Region of Denmark has established the Property Projects unit to meet an increasing number of projects, including an extensive renovation program. We are therefore seeking an experienced and engaged project manager who can take responsibility for projects across the region's hospitals.

You will be based at Stationsalléen 42 in Herlev and will be part of the unit's professionally strong team.

The unit focuses on medium-sized, strategically important and technically complex building and renovation tasks. Including the transformation of a listed building into a psychiatric research center and the establishment of staff housing.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As a project manager in Property Projects, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle—from the initial ideas to final delivery:

• Project management and control: You plan, coordinate and execute construction projects in close collaboration with users, advisors and contractors.
• Stakeholder management: You lead the client’s project organization and ensure clear and constructive dialogue with hospital leadership, the Center for Properties’ local organizations, technicians and users.
• Financial management: You prepare and follow up on budgets and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Quality and occupational safety: You set requirements for safety, quality and compliance with applicable rules and standards.
• Resource and risk management: You ensure efficient use of resources and handle risks with relevant action plans.
• Strategic development: You contribute to the development of project models, governance principles, etc.

Your profile

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant education – e.g. as an engineer, building constructor, marine engineer or architect – or solid practical experience combined with a project management education
• Have several years of experience as a client-side project manager or advisor
• Know about construction law, public processes and political decision-making
• Are used to navigating in complex organizations with many stakeholders
• Communicate clearly – both in writing and verbally
• Thrive in an environment with many parallel tasks and cross-pressure
• Work in a structured way, are proactive and have a solutions-oriented mindset

Knowledge of SAP, Dalux and ProjectApp is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You will become part of the Center for Properties, which with about 800 employees manages the operation and development of about 2 million m² of buildings – from listed hospital buildings to modern new construction.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is in accordance with one of the agreements below. The starting salary may vary depending on your seniority, experience, education and the geographical location of the workplace.

Agreements

• Agreement for Professional Bachelor's degree holders in the technical area 33.18.1
• Agreements for academics employed in regions, etc. 33.01.1

In addition to the starting salary you may have

• eligibility for allowance under local pre-agreements.
• eligibility for special allowances, e.g. for evening, night and weekend work.
• opportunity to negotiate individual allowances depending on the position as well as your experience and qualifications.

The position is 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible. The place of work is Stationsalléen 42 in Herlev, from which there will also be tasks at other locations in the region. The office is within a short walk from Herlev Station with good S-train and bus connections.
