Are you dedicated to the construction industry and perhaps particularly curious about in-situ concrete casting? In this exciting versatile role as a project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring strong foundations for construction projects of all sizes.

As a new employee at Byggefirmaet Mogens Lund A/S, you can look forward to a welcoming and helpful culture. You will be thoroughly introduced to your tasks and receive the necessary training, and the trust that you can work independently on the tasks within a short time. You will become part of a team of three project managers, two estimators, and a QHSE Manager, who together plan and manage the projects in-house down to the last detail, is in place.

Your tasks

• Management of project economics and budgets
• Prepare project plan with focus on deadlines, staffing, materials and economy
• Ordering materials for construction sites
• Ensure the right staffing in all project phases. The coordination of this takes place at weekly meetings with your colleagues
• Ensure the necessary equipment, such as machines, formwork, tools and site hut is available on site before work starts
• Participate in construction and safety meetings on the sites you are responsible for, and relay information to relevant colleagues
• Preparation of QHSE material in accordance with the tender plan, in collaboration with QHSE Manager
• Carry out independent quality control in line with the established control plans for the project
• As part of the occupational health and safety organization, participate in planned activities to reach common goals

Based from your desk at the head office at Herning, you go out and follow up on your projects at the construction sites. For projects of a certain size, it may happen that you will have a fixed office space on the construction site so you can follow the project closely.

Who are you

We imagine that you have a craft-oriented education, such as building constructor, supplemented with building engineer or other relevant education. It would be an advantage if you have experience as a project manager from a similar position.

To be successful in the job you must be service-minded and have good ability to create and maintain an overview. A structured approach will ensure progress in the projects, and your good communication skills will ensure clear and explicit communication to all involved parties. You continuously focus on quality and timeliness and think quickly toward new solutions when required. You have developed IT skills and are comfortable working with various systems and Excel spreadsheets. It can be an advantage if you, in addition to Danish, can also communicate in English.

Working hours are generally from 07:00 to 16:00, but you have the freedom to plan your working hours so that it fits with your responsibilities in the job and your private life.

You are remunerated with a fixed individually negotiated monthly salary plus pension and health insurance. You will also be supplied with a mobile, computer, work clothes, and company car.

Master mason Mogens Lund and his partner started the company in 1972 under the name Lund og Vestergård. In 1986 Byggefirmaet Mogens Lund ApS was started with Mogens Lund as sole owner, and the company’s tasks consisted mostly of single-family home construction.

In 2005 Jakob Tveen became co-owner, and in 2012 Jakob took over the remaining share and thus became the sole owner of the company.
