Psychologist with EMDR experience at Skovhus Private Hospital

Are you a psychologist with experience in EMDR and the treatment of patients with PTSD? And would you like to become affiliated with Skovhus Privathospital as a consultant?

At Skovhus Privathospital we are looking for 1-2 psychologists for group treatment of patients with PTSD at our clinic in Lyngby. At first, this concerns one fixed group program per week with the possibility that the collaboration may develop over time.

A Defined treatment assignment with room for your professional input

As a psychologist with us, you will be responsible for group treatment of patients who have been assessed and diagnosed with PTSD at Skovhus Privathospital.

You will not be responsible for the actual assessment. Your task begins when the patients are ready for a treatment course, where you, with your psychology knowledge and experience, will help create a safe and professionally sound space for the treatment.

We place emphasis on your ability to work independently with treatment responsibilities while also being keen to participate in professional collaboration around the patients.

Focus on the treatment

Although you have independent responsibility for the treatment, you also have the opportunity for professional sparring with other therapists at our clinic.

Our administrative team handles the practical coordination around the patients, so you can spend your time on the treatment.

As a starting point, we expect two psychologists to run the group program together, but we continuously review this.

There is a consultant position with a limited scope at the outset. In time, there may be opportunities for more assignments, possibly also at our clinic in Nykøbing Sjælland.

But for now, it is the weekly group program we are looking for psychologists to join.

Do you have EMDR in your professional toolkit?

We are looking for someone who is a trained psychologist with experience in treating people with PTSD.

We envision that you are comfortable taking responsibility for the treatment and have an understanding of what it takes to work with patients who have endured difficult experiences.

Concretely, it is important that you

• Are a trained psychologist.
• Have completed the EMDR basic training, Part I and II, or are a certified EMDR therapist with practical experience using the method.

If you also have experience with group treatment of patients with PTSD, we would love to hear about it.

A bit about Skovhus Privathospital

At Skovhus Privathospital we offer psychiatric assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. We have outpatient treatment at our clinics in Lyngby, Aalborg and Nykøbing Sjælland, and the possibility of inpatient care in Nykøbing Sjælland.

You will be affiliated with a private hospital where patient treatment is the central focus, and where various professional disciplines work to create coherent treatment pathways.
