About the job

Rødovre Municipality is growing, and therefore we are looking for a new psychologist for Familiehuset Elektravej, 30 hours per week from 1 February 2027.

Your tasks

As a psychologist you work with both short and longer-term programs with children, young people and adults who come from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. In the Psychology Group we have a multimethod approach. This means that we adapt our method to the individual issue. Most conversations take place in Familiehuset, but we can also visit the citizens' homes.

Your role will include

• individual therapy, adolescents and adults
• child conversations/play therapy
• multidisciplinary collaboration meetings
• report writing and journaling
• assessment.

Your profile

We are looking for a colleague who

• is educated cand.psych.
• can work both independently and in multidisciplinary collaboration
• is reflective, curious and open to professional sparring and supervision
• is well‑skilled in writing and has experience with Microsoft Office.

Familiehuset is part of Social-, Family- and Citizen Service in Rødovre Municipality. We work with early and preventive interventions under Barnets Lov §§ 30, 32 and 81. We do this to create safe frameworks for a meaningful life for children, youth and families.

We are also part of Rødovre Municipality's Birth Collaboration. It is an early preventive initiative based on multidisciplinary collaboration between midwives, health visitors and private-practising doctors. Focus is on pregnant women and new parents.

In Familiehuset you will find family therapists, psychologists, special education consultants and an administrative employee. There are also youth housing units for which the staff in Ungehuset are responsible. We have close collaboration with them as well.

Our most important task is to contribute to children receiving the developmental support they need. We do this, among other things, by meeting families at eye level, with respect, curiosity and credibility. We place emphasis on seeing and understanding each family, each child and each young person as the unique individuals they are. This means that we build our work on values such as humility, curiosity, perseverance, respect, credibility and not least trust.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement and after agreement with the negotiating organization. It is a 30-hour position starting 1 February 2027. We will obtain a Child and Criminal Records Check.
