Quality and Environmental Manager responsible for quality, environment and data-driven development

About the job

As Quality and Environmental Manager you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that ReSource Denmark's products, processes and data comply with applicable standards, regulatory requirements and customer specifications. You will be responsible for the company's management system and ISO certifications and drive improvement projects that raise the quality of both products and the way we work.

You will also become an important driver in ensuring valid and reliable production data that can form the basis for management, customer reporting and documentation. You will furthermore be operations -superuser on the upcoming ERP system and ensure that quality, environmental and data requirements are built into the system from the start. You will report to the COO, have personnel responsibility for the quality and environmental team and become part of the company's extended management team.

Your main areas of responsibility will include

• develop and maintain management systems and ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications
• ensure compliance with environmental legislation, environmental permits and other regulatory requirements
• monitor production quality and drive improvement projects with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods in close collaboration with production
• ensure valid production data, documentation and reporting to management, customers and authorities
• be super user and key person in the implementation of the new ERP system
• lead and develop the quality and environmental team and strengthen the understanding of quality in the organisation.

About ReSource Denmark

ReSource Denmark runs Denmark's first large-scale plastic waste sorting plant with a capacity to process 160,000 tons of plastic waste per year. The plant was officially opened in the summer of 2024. ReSource Denmark has big ambitions and an important role in the circular plastics economy, and the advanced sorting technology enables the extraction of valuable materials from plastic waste and sending them on for mechanical and chemical recycling. Your professional and personal qualifications

We are looking for a structured and analytical Quality and Environmental Manager with a relevant technical or scientific education, e.g., chemical engineer or production engineer. You take responsibility and are able to translate requirements, analyses and improvement opportunities into concrete results. As a leader you are clear and collaborative and thrive on creating engagement around new working methods.

We place particular emphasis on the fact that you

• have a minimum of 5 years experience in quality and environmental work, preferably from a production company
• have documented experience with implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as well as conducting audits
• have experience with improvement projects and methods such as Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent
• have strong competence in data validation, quality reporting and technical documentation
• have understanding of environmental legislation, environmental permits and regulatory requirements
• have experience with ERP systems and quality management systems, preferably from an implementation process
• work analytically and structured and can implement improvements in practice
• communicate confidently in both Danish and English, orally as well as in writing.

It is a plus if you have experience with people management.
