Quality coordinators for a food company in Northwest Jutland

Foodjob Nordic is seeking two quality coordinators for an well-established food producer in Northwest Jutland. The positions have different professional focus, but the same goal: to ensure high food safety and products that meet applicable legislation and customer expectations.

The company develops and produces foods for retail and works with quality across the entire value chain from receiving of raw materials and production to finished product documentation and delivery. The quality team works closely with production, product development, sales and the company's customers.

Quality work is based on HACCP, traceability, documentation and the requirements in FSSC 22000.

There is a need for both a solid eye for daily operations and a sharp focus on product information, labeling and food legislation.

The positions

You will become part of the quality team reporting to the quality manager. We are seeking two employees with each a primary area of responsibility, who can spar and collaborate across. You do not need to master both technical areas.

Quality Coordinator - Production and Food Safety

• Conduct quality and hygiene rounds on the production floor focusing on self-checks, process control and food safety
• Coordinate sampling, cleaning verification and follow-up on analyses, including allergens and microbiology
• Record and follow up on deviations and corrective actions in close collaboration with operators and production supervisors
• Contribute to HACCP, traceability, audits and continuous improvements of working procedures in production

Quality Coordinator - Legislation, Labeling and Product Information

• Ensure that product information, declarations and labeling comply with current food laws and customer requirements
• Prepare and maintain raw material and finished product specifications, product documentation and master data
• Keep up to date with food legislation and communicate relevant changes to the organization
• Work closely with production, product development, sales and customers on documentation and concrete solutions

In both positions, the success criterion is that you take ownership, follow up and make the quality requirements usable in practice both internally and to customers.

Your Profile

You have a relevant food-related education, for example as process technologist, food technologist, food technician, laboratory technician or similar, and experience from the food industry. You are professionally curious, eager to learn and motivated to develop in the job.

For the production-related role you have an understanding of hygiene, quality management and processes and you thrive being visible and present on the production floor. For the role involving legislation and labeling you are particularly strong in documentation, the details of product information and working with food requirements. Knowledge of Dankost is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You work in a structured and solution-oriented way, take responsibility and independently drive your tasks forward. You are good at collaborating across disciplines and communicating requirements in a clear and practical way. You communicate confidently in Danish and can work with documentation in English.
