Quality Manager for LJM Lind Jensen in Højmark

On behalf of LJM, Career | a JKS Company seeks an experienced Quality Manager who will have overall responsibility for the quality area and become a central member of the management team.

The company is a recognized partner for some of the world's leading OEM customers and has over many years built a strong position in advanced metal processing as well as the development and production of complete component solutions for LJM's own product program.

About the position

Reporting to the CEO, you will have the overall responsibility for further developing a high and consistent quality level across the organization. You set the direction for the quality work and ensure that the strategy is translated into practice.

You will have direct managerial responsibility for the Danish quality organization, with 7 employees, as well as the overall professional leadership responsibility for the quality functions in China and India. A key part of your role will be to ensure common standards, consistent processes and close coordination across the organizations. You will build on the strong local competences and ensure that quality-related decisions and improvement initiatives are carried out in close interaction with the organization in Denmark.

Your primary tasks

You collaborate broadly with, among others, production, technical/engineering, purchasing, sales and project management.

Your key tasks will be to

• lead, develop and prioritise in the quality organization
• develop and implement the company's quality strategy
• further develop the quality management system and ensure compliance and certifications
• drive quality and improvement projects across the organization
• ensure the use of, among others, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, VDA 6.3, 8D and SQM
• support the ramp-up of new products, processes and production methods
• ensure structured handling of deviations, complaints and corrective actions
• drive audits and management reviews
• manage the quality dialogue with major OEM customers and key suppliers

Your expertise and personality You come from a similar leadership role in the metal industry or another technical manufacturing company and have solid experience with quality management, process development and implementation of quality management systems. You have also worked with customer and supplier quality, preferably from international environments, as well as a good technical understanding of machining, welding and assembly processes.

You have a good knowledge of relevant quality tools and experience with ISO standards, audits and certifications. You thrive with both strategic and operational tasks and are able to translate quality requirements and strategies into concrete improvements in daily operations. In addition, you communicate confidently in both Danish and English.

As a leader you are clear, visible and structured. You have decisiveness, but at the same time you manage to create engagement and followership through collaboration and good relations across disciplines and cultures.
