We are seeking a physiotherapist for a newly established position in home care, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference for citizens in their own homes. You will become a central professional in the work to strengthen the rehabilitative effort in holistic care and will have a major influence on the development of both function and interdisciplinary collaborations.

We are in the midst of an exciting development with the focus of the Elderly Law on holistic care, where we want to strengthen the rehabilitative effort, and we hope you will join us. As a physiotherapist with us you take the initiative, work independently and see opportunities where others see limitations.

Your tasks

As a physiotherapist in home care, your tasks will primarily be to support the rehabilitative approach through professional assessments, guidance and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Your tasks will among other things include to

• perform physiotherapeutic assessments and identify citizens' functional ability and rehabilitation potential
• support citizens' ability to master their own lives and manage everyday activities for as long as possible
• guide and advise staff on rehabilitative approaches, mobilization and appropriate solutions regarding the citizens
• contribute with professional sparring in complex citizen pathways
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings and coordinate actions across professional groups
• teach and develop staff competencies when needed
• contribute to the development of the therapeutic effort in holistic care

In addition, it is important that you

• thrive with independent tasks and work in a structured way
• have good communication and collaboration skills both in writing and speaking; you must communicate with citizens and staff with diverse backgrounds
• are professionally grounded and proactive in developing professional competencies
• can navigate complex citizen pathways and collaboration structures
• you must be able to guide and advise interdisciplinary collaborators
• have interest in and preferably experience with everyday rehabilitation
• have interest in and preferably experience with neurology and geriatrics
• have a driving license

A little about us

Home care is distributed across several sites, and there will be one occupational therapist and one physiotherapist attached to home care to start with. You will collaborate with the occupational therapist to carry out the municipality's holistic care efforts. You will be assigned to three of the home care districts, while the occupational therapist handles the remaining three, but there will be tasks that cross the entire municipality, where collaboration with the occupational therapist is most important.

In addition, we have one physiotherapist who works as part of our mobile specialist team, who accepts citizens after discharge and specializes in palliative care. At our care centers we also have therapists employed who work with rehabilitation in the broadest possible sense. You will become part of professional sparring teams within your areas of work, including a Therapist Professional Forum, where therapists meet once a month across specialties and workplaces in Health and Care.
