The Nature Agency carries out a number of ambitious climate and water environment projects, which contribute to the green transition. For this work we are seeking an engaged and development-oriented employee who can advise colleagues on authority work and contribute to finding good solutions in complex projects. You will play a central role in supporting the progress of the projects through qualified advice, professional sparring and development of good solutions in close collaboration with colleagues across the country.

Who we are

The position is located in the Authority Team, which is anchored in the Nature Projects Unit. The Nature Projects Unit is part of the Nature Agency's headquarters in Randbøl and supports the Nature Agency's local units with professional advisory services, coordination and development of the framework for the projects and also plays an active role in the green spatial transformation.

The unit consists of 23 dedicated colleagues with different professional backgrounds and competencies, of which 4 of these colleagues constitute the Authority Team. We help each other, share knowledge and work together to create results that make a difference for nature and the green transition.

Who you are

You have a natural science education – for example as a biologist, landscape manager or similar – and experience with authority work, e.g. through case handling or work with authority applications.

You have a solid understanding of nature and environmental legislation, preferably within the Environmental Impact Assessment Act, the Habitats and Birds Directives as well as the Water Framework Directive. If you have experience from nature restoration or construction projects, it is an advantage.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the current agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

Appointment is 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

The employing area is the Ministry of Nature and Animal Welfare with related institutions.

The place of employment is the Nature Agency, Førstballevej 2, 7183 Randbøl.

It is a condition that you have a driver's license.
