FREIGHT FORWARDING IS MORE THAN YOU THINK!

As a freight forwarding apprentice at ALPI, you become part of an international everyday life where freight forwarding is about much more than simply getting goods from A to B.

You help ensure that transport and logistics come together across countries and customers, and you have daily contact with many different people – colleagues, customers and partners. You learn to coordinate transports, find solutions when plans change, and keep an overview when the pace is high.

You quickly gain responsibility for genuine tasks and have the opportunity to influence your own daily life. Two days are rarely the same, and you become part of an environment with a good atmosphere, high tempo and colleagues who help each other.

We warmly welcome our apprentices and focus on ensuring that you thrive and develop throughout your apprenticeship. You will be assigned your own training supervisor, who follows you in daily life, handles your professional training and helps you further along the way.

Through our apprentice program you also become part of a strong apprentice community. You will receive a thorough introduction and participate in internal training days and apprentice events.

You

• have a varied daily life, where two days are rarely the same
• take responsibility for real tasks and have the opportunity to continuously develop yourself
• receive your own training supervisor who follows your learning and development
• gain experience with coordination, customer contact and problem solving in practice
• have a broad network of colleagues, customers and partners in both Denmark and abroad
• obtain an international education where you learn about, among other things, transport planning, IT systems, communication, cultural understanding, languages, good commercial sense, customer service and sales
• become part of a strong apprentice community and have the opportunity to build relationships across ALPI.

Who you are

• you have one of the following educations: EUX, HHX, HTX, HF or STX
• you are curious, engaged and actively participate in your own learning and development
• you can speak English. If you also speak German, that is an advantage, but not a requirement
• you enjoy interacting with different people and delivering good service
• you have a positive attitude and good drive
• you thrive with many balls in the air and can maintain an overview.

You will become part of a global company with offices in more than 77 countries and 6 branches in Denmark. There are good opportunities for permanent employment after completing the apprenticeship at ALPI.
