About the job

Would you like to help ensure high patient data quality at Rigshospitalet by guiding correct registration practices? Then there are exciting challenges and tasks awaiting you in a work environment where high professionalism and strong commitment are the common denominator.

You will become part of the Registration Team in the Data Support Unit, which together with the Resource Support Unit constitutes the Management Staff at Rigshospitalet. Rigshospitalet is divided into 7 centers, and you will primarily be attached to the Juliane Marie Centre while also maintaining close and ongoing collaboration with colleagues in the Data Support Unit.

The Data Support Unit consists of just under 30 employees with several different professional profiles and competencies related to registration, processing, analysis, and communication of data in relation to the hospital’s core tasks, responsibilities and obligations. We are an experienced and engaged group that thrives on exciting professional discussions. We have an informal and ambitious collaborative culture with room for diversity and place emphasis on a culture that promotes cooperation and knowledge sharing.

Your tasks

With us you will have a unique opportunity to specifically support and shape the development of the registration area in the Juliane Marie Centre and to contribute to further developing a strong registration function. You will play a central role in ensuring consistent registration practices, high data quality, and clear communication channels across the centre.

As the centre’s registration consultant, you will become the professional focal point for the area in the centre. You will support, advise, and relieve the clinical service within registration practices and translate national and regional requirements into concrete workflows that support everyday clinical work.

You will work closely with the centre’s departments and sections and have the opportunity to create coherence between administrative processes, data quality, and clinical operations.

Examples of concrete tasks

  • Provide guidance on reporting to the National Patient Register, including patient rights and cancer pathway processes.
  • Prepare and implement workflows in the Sundhedsplatformen (Health Platform) that support correct and timely registration.
  • Educate and advise relevant professional groups about registration practices.
  • Establish systematic monitoring of the quality and completeness of registrations.
  • Drive and facilitate the centre’s network for chief medical secretaries and those responsible for registration.
  • Act as a sparring partner and link across the centre’s departments and professional groups.

About you

We imagine that you

  • Have a relevant educational background, e.g., as a health administrative coordinator (SAK).
  • Have deep insight into Sundhedsplatformen and experience with data work, including Excel.
  • Know and thrive in the clinical daily work and can create coherence between administrative and clinical processes.
  • Work in a structured and targeted way, keeping an eye on both detail and the big picture, and thrive on coordinating across professional groups.
  • Are curious, engaged, and collaborative with strong communication skills.
  • Can translate strategies and guidelines into clear workflows and build support for changes through credibility, perseverance, and independence.

We offer you

  • A job in a complex, dynamic, and meaningful organization.
  • An exciting and outward-facing role with contact to many partners.
  • A close collaboration with the centre’s department heads and a strong professional registration network across the hospital and the region.
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • A workplace where social cohesion and a good tone are highly valued.
