Cleaning Assistant for Kildegården Nursing Home - with tasks in Team Bakken

Would you like to help create clean, safe and homely surroundings for residents at Plejehjemmet Kildegården? We are seeking a cleaning assistant for a permanent position of 37 hours per week with fixed tasks in team Bakken, which is under construction.

About the job

You will become part of the cleaning team and have tasks throughout Kildegården with team Bakken as the fixed task area. You ensure that residents' homes as well as common-, service- and kitchen areas are clean, inviting and hygienically safe. The work is carried out with respect for the home being the resident's home.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• clean residents' homes, including waiting and respite spaces, as well as common- and service areas
• take care of laundry at the waiting and respite spaces
• clean department kitchens and document agreed temperature measurements
• work according to current hygiene guidelines and cleaning plans with focus on quality and infection prevention
• involve residents in everyday tasks when appropriate
• collaborate flexibly with colleagues in team Bakken and across the building.

We are looking for you who

• preferably have experience with cleaning from the care, health or service sector
• work thoroughly, systematically and independently
• are stable, responsible and follow current guidelines
• meet residents, family, friends and colleagues respectfully
• can understand, speak and read Danish at a level that makes it possible to communicate safely and clearly with residents, including residents with dementia.
• work well with others and can adapt to changing needs and priorities.

About team Bakken and Kildegården

Team Bakken will become a department with 14 places: seven elderly care home places and seven respite and waiting places for Skanderborg Municipality. The department is established gradually as part of Plejehjemmet Kildegården, Kildevej 10, 8660 Skanderborg.

Kildegården is Eden-certified. This means that we focus on homeliness, presence and meaningful relationships. Our core task is: Together with the residents we create a good and meaningful everyday life. As a cleaning assistant you help create a nice home and meet residents with respect, curiosity and attention to their wishes and habits.

Practical information

The position is 37 hours per week and is expected to commence from 1 December 2026. There will be ongoing recruitment and we will remove the job posting when the position is filled.

Salary and employment terms are determined according to the applicable collective agreements, including the fixed provisions for local pay formation.
