Scandic Property Service & Cleaning is seeking an experienced and responsible Cleaning Supervisor / Operations Manager with particular responsibility for the company's evening and night operations as well as selected customer and subcontractor tasks on Zealand. The position is a central operations and leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring that cleaning tasks outside normal daytime hours are planned, staffed, carried out, and quality checked professionally.

You will be the link between the company’s management, cleaning staff, customers and partners. A significant part of your area of responsibility will involve tasks in food-related environments with special requirements for cleaning and hygiene. Such tasks are carried out both as direct customer tasks and as ongoing subcontracting tasks for other companies, which requires flexible coordination and ongoing presence in the evening and night hours.

Considerable travel between the company’s customers and workplaces on Zealand can be expected.

Your primary tasks

Leadership and coordination of evening- and night-time operations

· Planning and coordination of the company’s cleaning tasks in the evening and night hours.

· Leadership and supervision of cleaning staff on the evening and night shifts.

· Allocation of tasks, staffing and deployment of resources.

· Handling changes due to illness, holidays, acute absence and unforeseen operational needs.

· Ongoing follow-up on employees’ work performance, attendance and execution of assigned tasks.

· Coordination with the company’s other operations manager/supervisor and management.

Special customer and subcontractor tasks

· Special responsibility for cleaning tasks at locations with food processing.

· Coordination of ongoing subcontractor tasks that may arise with short notice and outside normal daytime hours.

· Review of customers’ and partners’ requirements for cleaning, quality and hygiene.

· Ensuring that agreed cleaning and hygiene requirements are met at the individual sites.

· Ongoing contact with customers and partners regarding task execution, staffing and quality.

Quality control and personnel responsibility

· Conducting quality control and site visits at the company’s customers.

· Identification of deficiencies and ensuring that necessary corrections are carried out.

· Introduction, training and instruction of new and existing employees.

· Instruction in the correct use of cleaning agents, chemicals, equipment and personal protective equipment.

· Reporting to management on staffing, quality, customer considerations and operational conditions.

Operations, materials and health & safety

· Planning of work routes and resource usage in the evening and night hours.

· Ensuring that necessary cleaning equipment and materials are available.

· Ensuring proper use and maintenance of the company’s equipment.

· Contributing to compliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations.

· Communication of relevant operational information between staff, customers and management.

Practical participation in cleaning tasks may occur as a natural part of the operation, including at the start of special tasks, training, quality control, acute absence or other operational situations. However, the position’s primary content is leadership, supervision, coordination and quality management.

We expect that you

· Have several years of experience from the cleaning industry.

· Have experience with or demonstrable ability to lead, coordinate or supervise employees.

· Can plan and prioritize resources and tasks under changing operational conditions.

· Are prepared for a substantial part of the work to take place in the evening and night hours as well as when needed on weekends.

· Have an understanding of quality, hygiene and special requirements for cleaning in food-related environments and locations.

· Are responsible, flexible, solution-oriented and able to act independently in daily operations.

· Can communicate in Danish or English at a level that enables you to lead staff and manage dialogue with customers and partners.

· Have a category B driving license.

Working hours

The position is 37.5 hours per week. The working hours are planned according to the company’s activities and the customers’ needs. The position is aimed at evening and night work, and there is therefore potential for work on weekdays as well as weekends and during evening and night hours. Depending on operational needs there may also be work at other times.
