About the job

We are seeking two residential support workers for permanent positions with start date January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter, for our team in Aabybro and our team in Pandrup.

The positions are full-time.

Residential support workers sought

“We work to enable citizens to realize their potential and to master their lives,” that is our core task. It is not always easy, but you contribute to a team of engaged, professionally skilled and professional staff when you are employed with us and together with the citizens we reach our goals.

When others see how much we have going on in a day, they may be sweating for us. But they don’t have to. We gain energy from several ongoing tasks at once and from being in contact with many different partners, both internally and externally.

We take pride in solving difficult tasks and for that reason we also bring in a lot. We need a new colleague who shares our level of ambition and our values.

We are looking for

two colleagues full-time for permanent residential support positions as of January 1, 2027, attached to our team in Aabybro and Pandrup.

Framework for the job

We have a strong focus on the benefits of residential support delivered in group programs. At the same time we also provide residential support in citizens’ homes, or at one of our four day centers. The target group for residential support includes citizens with mental disorders, social functional impairments, personality disorder, mild intellectual disabilities, dual diagnoses, etc. We provide residential support under both LSS § 82a, §82b, §85 and §85a. As a new initiative, as of June 1 we have taken over the assessment of §82 support, which we are focusing on further developing.

You are prepared to take on varied tasks and to work both day and evening if the task requires. You plan your own working hours of 37 hours per week according to the tasks and the citizen’s needs.

Thus it is a prerequisite that you can plan your own day appropriately in collaboration with both the colleagues in the residential support team and management. Both documentation work and the pedagogical work are thus carried out satisfactorily for the citizen’s best.

You are used to focusing on delivering the service based on the order and in collaboration with the commissioning authority’s adviser.

You have previously worked as a residential support worker, or you have a desire to try your competencies in this area. Perhaps you are a pedagogue, social- and health assistant, occupational therapist, nurse or similar.

Your application

In your application we would like to read concrete examples of how you, for example

  • Use your professional expertise in collaboration with people who need support
  • Actively and independently assess what you should do in a critical situation, e.g. if someone reacts physically and violently
  • Can reflect on and explain your professional choices
  • And how others would say you contribute to a good working environment

More practically we also need you to

  • Have a driver’s license, a car available and enjoyment of driving
  • Be able to work smoothly on both iPad and PC, and understand the importance of documentation and IT as a working tool

We look forward to offering you employment at a dynamic and developing workplace, where focus on the core task, interdisciplinary collaboration, internal and external, flexibility and professionalism characterize our approach to work.

We work concretely with Jammerbugt Municipality’s value framework as a basis for the culture we want to promote and specifically with the goals and strategies that are continuously announced.
