Restaurant manager for BENI - and upcoming Operations Manager

BENI is a burger bar in Carlsberg City, created in collaboration between Norrlyst Group and Casper Drømme. We have been incredibly busy from day one, and now we must grow. There are several restaurants on the way within the next six months, and we are now building the organization that will carry BENI forward.

Therefore we are seeking a leader for BENI on Ny Carlsberg Road, and we are targeting two types of profiles.

Do you see yourself as a restaurant manager who loves to lead a busy restaurant, build a strong team and deliver to guests every single day? Then we would love to talk to you.

Do you have experience from a higher operational role or with multi-unit leadership, and do you get energy from creating structures and organisations? Then we are also looking for you. We are seeking a leader who can run BENI today and has the desire and ability to build the foundation for tomorrow. You start as restaurant manager, and as new restaurants open, the role develops into an operations manager.

As restaurant manager you will be responsible for

• The overall operations, from opening to closing and from budget to guest experience.
• Leadership and development of a team of 40, including sous-chefs and shift leaders.
• Recruitment, onboarding, training, and, when necessary, dismissals.
• Scheduling, budget, payroll percentage, usage of goods and financial follow-up.

On the road to operations manager

In addition to the restaurant's responsibility, you will from the start be a sparring partner for management and part of the work to develop BENI's organization. This can include:

• Systems, standards and training programs that make new openings possible.
• Development of the leaders who will lead the upcoming restaurants.
• Planning and execution of the openings.
• In time, the responsibility for operating several restaurants.

We envision that you

• Have experience as a restaurant manager, preferably from concepts with high tempo and high volume.
• Are skilled at leading, motivating and developing people.
• Are structured and keep an overview, but take to the floor yourself when it is busy.
• Have good commercial sense and keep on top of the numbers.
• Can see yourself growing with an organization in development.
• Speaks and writes fluent Danish and English.

If you are aiming for the role of operations manager, we also imagine that you

• Have experience from a higher operational role or with leading multiple units.
• Have built strong teams and developed leaders before.
• Think in systems and structures and want to create them.
• Have been involved in opening restaurants.
