Auditor Trainee 2027 – Copenhagen

As a trainee with us you not only learn to become a skilled auditor - You will work with a lot of different clients, developing your communication and teaching you to be good at finding solutions. We see the auditor as a detective in the world of numbers, because you as an auditor must find the mistakes others overlook. No day will be the same.

You can look forward to two fun, challenging and educational years, where you will go through a structured training and development programme together with the other new trainees, while gaining experience with accounting and auditing in an exciting everyday life. At the same time your studies continue alongside the job, with either HD or cand.merc.aud (depending on your school and educational background).

You will experience a steep learning curve and work within the following areas

• Understanding companies, products, markets, financial results and strategies. The companies cover broadly, incl. manufacturing companies, retail, consulting firms etc.
• Help companies with their annual report, stock count and general questions about their accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and much more. We work from our office or on-site at the customers.
• Review and control of companies' accounts.
• Professional sparring with colleagues.
• Training and teaching in internal digital tools, auditing, accounting and KPMG’s culture.

Additionally you can look forward to social events, Friday bars, Faxe Kondi ad libitum and own chefs who ensure a good lunch.

You will become part of Audit Copenhagen and placed in a smaller group consisting of around 15-20 people. The groups work with everything from small and medium-sized enterprises, financial companies and large groups to larger family- and owner-led companies across sectors. Regardless of which group, you will be solving tasks for Danish and international companies within many different sectors – and with many different problem areas.

• Are enrolled in or have completed HHX, STX, EUX, HA, Finansøkonom, Finansbachelor, Financial Controller or similar.
• Are approachable and service-minded.
• Are structured, responsible and proactive.
• Are fluent in Danish and English.
• Have a good and natural understanding of numbers.
