About the job
Do you have experience with building operations, administration and finance? Do you like having responsibility, collaborating with many different people and making daily life work for both residents and staff? Then we would like to hear from you.
Close-knit colleague group with high professional standards
In our Service Center in Faaborg-Midtfyn we are 14 colleagues who together handle about 1,250 homes in Faaborg, Ringe, Årslev and Ørbæk. We know each other well, help each other when needed, and have a daily life where there is room for professional sparring and a good laugh. We come from different backgrounds and experiences, and everyone contributes something different.
You will be the manager of three employees who work with resident services and building operation. You report to the managing director and will have another experienced operations manager as a close colleague with whom you can discuss tasks and challenges. Your tasks will include, among others:
- Lead your team and ensure that employees thrive
- Follow up on the state and maintenance of the buildings
- Plan and conduct site inspections and building surveys
- Take care of smaller renovation projects and follow up on budgets and operating economics
- Maintain and develop operation and maintenance plans
- Participate in department meetings as well as accounting and budget meetings.
New IT systems become part of everyday life
When you start, we are in the process of implementing a number of new IT tools – including several of the systems you will use as an operations manager. You will therefore spend time getting to know them and helping to make them work in daily operations. You should therefore be keen to and able to learn new systems.
Good terms and professionally strong colleagues
We care that it should be good to go to work, and we tackle things if something isn’t functioning. At the same time, we are focused on having the opportunity to learn new things and develop in the job. You also get:
- A good remuneration package, pension, dental insurance as well as health and treatment insurance
- Skilled colleagues to spar with
- A versatile job with responsibility and influence over your daily life
- Opportunities for professional development and participation in networks.
Who are you?
We imagine that you thrive in a varied everyday life where you both lead employees, keep track of operations and collaborate with many different people. You are good at building relationships and can maintain an overview, even when several things are happening at once. In addition, we would like you to:
- Have experience with building operations – preferably combined with a craft-based background or other relevant experience
- Have experience with leadership
- Be strong administratively and have good knowledge of IT and digitalization
- Have a car available. You will of course receive travel allowance for your work trips
- Thrive with a wide range of contacts and want to build good relationships with residents, boards and partners.
