About the job

Robotics Engineer sought at Ib Andresen Industri A/S. Is a daily life with optimization, development, automation and robot technology high on your wishlist? Do you dream of getting hands-on with the robots in an innovative production company? Then it might be you we are looking for to the Technical Support team in Langeskov. About the job

At Ib Andresen Industri A/S we are specialists in machining and forming of steel constructions for a wide range of industries. We help shape the future sustainable steel solutions through production of profiles for among others solar parks, construction and transport – and thus play an active role in the green transition.

As our new Robotics Engineer you will be part of a strong Technical Support team consisting of 3 colleagues, whose primary task is to resolve issues in daily operations. Your role, however, focuses on development, programming and optimization of the department's welding robots.

The daily life in a manufacturing company is both exciting and challenging, and your primary tasks will include:

  • Programming robots via digital models
  • Commissioning new items for our robot system
  • Continuous optimization, troubleshooting and improvement in production
  • Training and conducting courses for new operators according to our training matrix
  • Development projects within automation and robot technology in collaboration with R&D
  • Exploring new technologies, welding processes and programming possibilities

In our welding department we work with advanced digital robot models for the implementation of new products on the welding robots. This approach places us among the leading companies in the field and creates noticeable advantages for both our customers and the business.

As our new Robotics Engineer you will be a key player in the continued development of our robot technology platform. You are involved in ensuring that our innovative working methods develop in line with market requirements, so we can continue to be among the most technologically forward-looking players in the industry.

In the long term you will, together with the Tech Support team, have the opportunity to bring your knowledge and experience into play across the group. Together with your colleagues you will be an important part of the work to spread and implement our concept for simulation and offline programming of welding robots in our German companies.

Your profile

We work in an environment where changes are a natural part of everyday life. Therefore it is important that you thrive on learning new things and see opportunities where others see challenges. You will receive thorough onboarding, and we actively invest in your professional development so you can grow with the tasks. Since the tasks may be complex, we imagine you have a background as an engineer or have other professional competencies that match this education level.

We are looking for a profile who loves to nerd down into the details and can structure their work accordingly. You should be eager to learn how the robot works, calibrates and optimizes, as well as have an interest in learning the production and welding technical processes. You do not need prior experience from the production world.

In short, we are looking for a person who dreams of becoming an important part of the team that makes the robots do the right thing the first time - and do it even better next time.

We offer

You will become part of our department for 'Welding & Assembly' consisting of a total of 30 colleagues, mostly in production, and will report to the department's Operations Manager.

We offer an attractive salary package with associated pension scheme and flexible benefit account. You can also enjoy employee benefits such as health insurance, group life insurance, an active employee association, a bonus scheme, Friday cafe, flexible meeting times and not least a delicious canteen arrangement.
