Caseworker for the Road Authority in Brønderslev Municipality

Do you want to help ensure a well-functioning and road-safety infrastructure in Brønderslev Municipality? We are seeking an engaged case handler for our road authority, who wants to work with authority tasks, citizen dialogue and collaboration with both contractors, conduit owners and colleagues across the organization.

As a case handler, your main tasks will be

• Process applications for excavation, easement and events in the ROSY application module.
• Close dialogue and collaboration with contractors, excavation actors, conduit owners, project owners, event planners and citizens.
• Planning, coordination and execution of the municipality's road safety campaigns.
• Handling inquiries from citizens, companies and partners.
• Preparation of case summaries for political consideration.
• Professional sparring and coordination across the municipality.

As an authority, you must be able to make well-founded decisions and at the same time create a constructive dialogue with the people who are affected by them.

You will become a central part of the municipality's road authority and will be responsible for ensuring that activities on and around the municipal roads are carried out in accordance with applicable law and with a focus on traffic safety and accessibility.

You will be part of Team Infrastructure and Projects in Climate and Technology. Here you join a strong interdisciplinary community where we help each other, share knowledge and together find the best solutions.

We are therefore looking for a colleague who thrives on combining legal and administrative tasks with citizen contact and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant educational background in engineering, planning, administration or law, e.g. as an engineer, surveyor, technical designer, building constructor, lawyer or equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have experience with public administration, authority handling or road area, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you have an interest in authority work and a willingness to familiarise yourself with legislation and complex problem issues.

We are looking for a colleague who works in a structured way and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You are able to build good relationships and can communicate clearly with both citizens, contractors and partners.

At the same time you thrive in finding solutions in complex cases where different interests must be balanced. You manage to unite the considerations of law, road safety and good citizen service.
