Caseworkers for the Agricultural Act and Land Allocation Team in Tønder

Would you like to help create a greener Denmark? We are looking for new colleagues to the team Agricultural Law and Land Redistribution under the unit Nature and Agricultural Development in Tønder, where we function as secretariat for the land redistribution commissions. We are looking for you who take ownership, care about precision and derive satisfaction from making complex processes run smoothly.

In the secretariat of the land redistribution commissions we play a central role in the green transition. We ensure that land redistributions – which often involve converting farmland to nature – occur on a correct legal and economic basis. Since most land redistributions today support extraction projects, the work requires a sharp eye for documentation, compliance with formal requirements and financial precision.

There are many aspects in the settlement of a land redistribution, and therefore you will work with many other colleagues across the team.

As caseworker you will be responsible for driving your own cases from start to finish. You will be the important guarantor that the land redistribution plans submitted are legally correct and ready for presentation to the commission. You are the one who ensures that all rights, easements and financial transactions are handled flawlessly when the lands change hands. When the decision is in place, you complete the process by ensuring that the property changes are correctly recorded in the cadastre and the Land Register.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be

Project management: You prepare and drive your own land redistribution decisions towards presentation to the commission. Where the land redistribution plan and accompanying documentation are prepared by others, it is your task to ensure that agreement documents, authority hearings, etc. are submitted on time. You handle invitations, facilitation and meeting management at decision meetings.

Legal and financial quality assurance: You ensure that the law is followed, and that the finances in the property transactions occurring in the decision are secured through precise handling of deposits and withdrawals as well as mortgagee hearings.

Settlement: You function as a professional contact for landowners who have participated in a land redistribution, mortgagees and other partners, and you ensure that the plan is recorded in the Land Register and cadastre.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who thrives on having "the full overview". You do not necessarily need a long education in law or economics, as we provide thorough training in the specific tasks. The most important is that you have a sense for detail and a high degree of responsibility.

• Have a background where precision is essential (e.g. as a legal secretary, bank employee, cadastre technician or similar).
• Are a "structured problem solver" who can maintain an overview even when deadlines are tight and tasks are many.

• Are a strong communicator who can build trust with both the farmer and the bank advisor.

Employment terms

You will be employed under the joint agreement between the Ministry of Finance and OAO (The State Sector) along with the corresponding collective agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT Employees (HK) or Circular on the organizational agreement for Agricultural Technologists. There is the possibility to negotiate supplements according to qualifications.

The employment area is the Ministry of Nature & Animal Welfare with associated institutions, and the workplace is the Agency for Green Spatial Planning and Water Environment, Pioneer Allé 9, 6270 Tønder.

The start date will be December 1, 2026, or as soon as possible. These are full-time positions.
