About the role as Sales Engineer with a focus on machine safety

As a Sales Engineer in machine safety, you will be a central part of SICK's experienced sales team. Your primary responsibility is to identify customer needs, present advanced safety solutions, and ensure that customers receive optimal guidance and support.

Key tasks and responsibilities in machine safety sales

• Advise customers on the selection and implementation of machine safety solutions
• Develop technical solutions and proposals in collaboration with colleagues and customers
• Actively seek out both new and existing customers with a view to actively identifying new sales opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.
• Keep up to date with relevant standards and legislation in machine safety
• Active use of CRM and pipeline management.
• Preparation of solution proposals and quotations.

Qualifications and competencies for the role of Sales Engineer – Machine Safety

• A technical education would be an advantage, e.g., as an engineer, mechanical technician, electrician or similar, but it is not a requirement.
• It would be a clear advantage to have solid application understanding and relevant experience from previous roles.
• If you have experience with machine safety and knowledge of relevant standards and directives, this would also be an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in Danish and English.
• Experience with solution selling or technical support is an advantage.
• Self-driven, solution-oriented and collaborative, and thrives in a high-activity environment.
