Salesperson for timber yard and building center

Are you a skilled salesperson who takes responsibility, sees opportunities, and gets things done?

We are seeking a new colleague for Mou Trælast & Byggecenter. We need you who thrive with customer contact and sales, but also take ownership of your tasks and help make the store function in everyday life.

With us you will have responsibility for your own product areas. That means you won't just sell the goods, but also monitor the assortment, ensure stock replenishment and take the initiative when something can be done better.

You don't need to know our entire assortment from the start. Experience from timber/wood supplier, building materials store, retail or trades is an advantage, but the most important is that you have the right attitude, can work independently and are eager to learn.

About the job

You will become part of a small team where we help each other, and where everyone participates in the daily operations.

The everyday life is varied. One customer is a professional tradesperson who needs to move on quickly. The next is a private customer who needs help finding the right solution.

At the same time, goods must be ordered, shelves replenished, and the store kept sale-ready.

Your tasks will include

• sell and advise both private and professional customers
• take responsibility for your own product areas
• allocate goods and keep track of assortment and stock
• ensure stock replenishment and a proper product presentation
• identify opportunities to develop sales and improve your areas
• participate in the practical tasks in the store

You will have freedom to solve your tasks, but we also expect you to follow them through.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience with sales and customer service and enjoy taking responsibility.

You are the type who takes action when you see something that needs to be done. You have an overview of your tasks, can prioritize in a busy day and are comfortable with the workday not always going exactly as planned.
