At Marslev School and Kindergarten we are seeking a committed teacher for a permanent full-time position with start on 1 February 2027 .

We are looking for a teacher with a science/ Danish-language profile who is passionate about making teaching lively, present and meaningful for the children. You will have the opportunity to leave your mark on both the students' learning and the school's ongoing development in a strong professional community where we help each other and succeed together.

In time there will be an opportunity to become a class teacher, just as competencies within IT, guidance or the school’s pedagogical learning centre will be a big plus.

Until the summer break the following lessons will make up your timetable, but after the summer break it would ideally be possible to teach a Danish group in the early years or lower/middle primary.

Your teaching tasks

The position includes, among other things

  • Nature/Technology in 2nd and 3rd grade
  • Mathematics in 3rd grade
  • Christianity in 2nd and 3rd grade
  • English in 2nd grade
  • Physical education in 2nd grade
  • 6 lessons with Co-Teaching

We envisage that you

  • Have a major in Danish and/or Danish
  • Thrive in the early years and see children's curiosity as a driver for learning
  • Want to or have experience with class teacher tasks
  • See the value in collaboration with colleagues, parents and other subject areas
  • Are curious about Co-Teaching and inclusive learning communities
  • Have strong IT skills or an interest in IT guidance and PLC tasks
  • Contribute positively to the school's community and job satisfaction
  • Meet children with high expectations, warmth and clarity

Therefore choose Marslev School and Kindergarten

At Marslev School and Kindergarten you will encounter a school where relationships matter. We are a smaller school with a strong local engagement, where students, staff and parents know each other, and where community is a noticeable strength in everyday life.

We are proud of our high well-being among both students and staff. As a new colleague you will become part of a dedicated staff who share knowledge, help each other and pull together. With us you will not be left to yourself. You will have colleagues and leadership who prioritise sparring, presence and development.

We offer

  • A school with happy, curious and eager-to-learn students
  • High staff and student well-being
  • Committed and helpful colleagues
  • An approachable and supportive leadership
  • A professional learning community with strong team collaboration
  • Great influence on planning the teaching
  • Opportunity to influence the school's development in natural sciences/danish, IT and PLC
  • Good opportunities to involve nature, local community and outdoor school in teaching
  • A work environment characterized by trust, humor and shared responsibility
