Semi-intensive ward (IMA) is seeking a nurse

Do you have a desire to develop your nursing professional competencies, IMA will be a good place for you – our strengths are high professionalism, a strong collegial togetherness and a good working environment.

We will focus on you in an individual and structured introduction program with a competence card, where the work community creates time for both practical and theoretical learning.

You will have the opportunity to work alternately every 2nd weekend and every 4th weekend in 8-hour shifts.

Your duty roster is flexible and with a preference plan.

You apply your professional skills in collaboration with people by actively being part of a team with engaged colleagues, collegial care, support, practical help and interprofessional sparring.

You will have the opportunity to develop your nursing competencies, and deepen yourself in both basic and highly specialized nursing, with responsibility for 2-3 patients.

You will work in a ward with an open leadership style where your viewpoints count and where the chief nurse is clinically close.

You will be assigned mentors who you primarily follow during your introduction period, which lasts 8 weeks with ongoing evaluation and adjustment to individual needs.

We have focus-based teaching for everyone, both experienced and less experienced.

At our daily interdisciplinary conferences with specialists there is a focus on learning and teaching.

We pay great attention to the social relationships in our work community, for example we prioritise meeting and eating together.

A little about our ward

Intermediary ward is a semi-intensive ward with 10 monitoring beds, where patients have a higher need for observation and treatment. Intermediary ward receives patients from all specialties at North Zealand Hospital, which provides the possibility for a wide palette of knowledge and learning.

We are working towards our new hospital

You will have the opportunity to engage in concrete change tasks and help test and implement new concepts. With our new hospital, not only new physical surroundings come, but it opens up completely new ways of working. The work with the new organization is already in full swing.

Employment terms

The position is to be filled on 01.02.27 or by agreement, and is 37 hours/week or by agreement in mixed shifts.

Authorized health professionals with patient contact who do not have a Danish education must, upon employment in the Capital Region of Denmark, have passed a Danish test (Danish Education 3, equivalent to the 9th grade leaving exam) or at minimum be able to pass the test no later than 1 year after employment, or have obtained equivalent Danish language skills in another way.
