Do you want to be the professional driving force behind the continued development of physical security in a company that plays a central role in Denmark's energy supply?

At Evida we are seeking an experienced and development-oriented specialist who can strengthen our work with physical security through audits, risk-based improvements, governance and organizational embedding. You do not have to build the area from scratch. Rather, your task will be to further develop, challenge and mature the security measures, processes and governance mechanisms we have already established.

BE THE PROFESSIONAL DRIVING FORCE FOR PHYSICAL SECURITY

As a Senior Specialist in Physical Security you will be part of Evida's emergency preparedness and security area and will play a central role in the continued professionalization of our work with physical security.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our security level, processes and controls evolve in line with changes in the threat landscape, regulatory requirements and the company's needs. The role is strategic and development-oriented with a focus on governance, compliance, audits, risk management and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with our technical security specialist, who is responsible for the technical specialist knowledge within security solutions, facilities and systems.

YOUR KEY TASKS

Development and improvement

• Further develop Evida's strategy, processes and governance model for physical security.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive development initiatives across the organization.
• Ensure that experiences from incidents, audits, exercises and regulatory inspections are translated into concrete improvements.

Audits and maturity assessments

• Plan and conduct internal audits and maturity assessments of physical security measures.
• Follow up on deviations and ensure implementation of corrective actions.

Compliance and risk management

• Translate regulatory requirements, standards and risk assessments into concrete requirements and processes.
• Ensure documentation, traceability and compliance with applicable laws.

Exercises and organizational resilience

• Develop and coordinate exercises in physical security and emergency preparedness.
• Evaluate exercises and ensure systematic follow-up on learning points.

YOUR PROFILE

We especially value that you have

• Significant experience with physical security, security management or risk management.
• Experience with audits, compliance work and continuous improvements.
• Experience with critical infrastructure or other regulated industries.

As a person you are curious, development-oriented and persistent. You thrive on taking independent professional responsibility and have both an eye for detail and an understanding of the bigger picture. You dare to challenge existing practices, but also know that lasting improvements are created through dialogue, collaboration and strong organizational anchoring.

Workplace is primarily Viborg. Travel activity to Evida's other locations should be expected.

Background check and security clearance : In connection with the recruitment process, there will be a need for Evida to conduct a background check of you, including control of your identity, CV, educational certificates and criminal record. There are also requirements that after the background check you can also obtain security clearance from the Danish Energy Agency and maintain the security clearance during the entire employment relationship.
