Exciting opportunity in the Service Department at Midt- and West Zealand Hospital Slagelse: Seeking vocationally trained or unskilled service assistants to handle porter and cleaning tasks

The Service Department at Midt- and West Zealand Hospital Slagelse is seeking dedicated and engaged employees to be part of our organization as we service the hospital 24 hours a day, year-round. As a department we are motivated and ready for future development, and we strive to deliver the best possible service and quality to patients and colleagues at the hospital. For the position, the following exciting tasks/functions are attached, among others

• Transport of patients
• Assists with trauma and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Lifting and transfer tasks
• Chapel duties, including transport of the deceased
• Occasional operational and service tasks
• Cleaning
• Coordinates work tasks
• Ad hoc tasks

We expect that you

• Speak and write Danish at a good level
• Are cooperative and can work effectively in teams and on your own
• Are emotionally stable and have a positive outlook on people
• Are interested in a varied job with pace and challenges in an unpredictable daily life
• Are flexible and adaptable
• Have a focus on service and quality
• Are practically minded and in good physical shape
• Can work every other weekend with rotating shifts in a three-shift system, including night shifts
• Either are a vocationally trained service assistant with a specialization in hospital service or have another equivalent health-related education or have the desire and interest to complete the education as a service assistant within 2 years from the start of employment
• Have experience with IT and smartphones at user level
• Can comply with the guidelines for child certificates in Region Zealand

Startløn for overenskomstansatte

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
