About the job
Do you have a strong sense of order, are you creative and practical, and would you like to help ensure good, inviting conditions for teaching in our Playlab at Campus Carlsberg? Then you might be our new service assistant.
At the Copenhagen Higher Education Academy (KP) we have laboratories where teaching is physical and the learning processes are creative. One of these laboratories is Playlab, which supports the development of playful, creative and experimental approaches to learning among students and teachers. Playlab is a central and lively part of the programs and is supported by both teachers with a function in Playlab and service assistants who have physical presence and tasks in Playlab.
About the job
We are seeking two service assistants for practical and supportive tasks.
We offer a position where you will work to keep things tidy, maintain and develop Playlab: both the physical space and mobile Playlabs, which are lending boxes with materials. You will be working together with another service assistant and teachers.
Your tasks will be
- To oversee ongoing tidying up in Playlab. It is expected that Playlab is checked 2-3 times per week
- To maintain material lists, label materials and continuously replenish consumables
- Ongoing contact with the other service assistant and the teachers about purchases and repairs as well as unforeseen tasks
- Assist with arrangements and workshops in PlayLab
- Develop and maintain mobile Playlabs in collaboration with the teachers
- Participate in meetings about every two weeks with the teacher group and the other service assistant
You will be helped by a teacher from the Playlab group, who will continuously be in dialogue with you about the tasks.
About you
We emphasize that you
- Are proactive, independent and collaborative
- Have an overview, sense of order and are systematic
- Are practical, flexible and ready to roll up your sleeves
- Have an interest in play and creativity
