We are looking for a weekend relief Service Assistants/unskilled Service Assistants for Service South, Blood Disorders and Clinics in Supply & Service, AUH

We have a number of departments anchored in Service South at Aarhus University Hospital. The core task is to deliver continuous, high-quality service that is rooted in collaboration and high professional standards to the hospital's departments, always with the patient at the center. We value hiring employees who are flexible, service-minded, have good collaboration skills and who understand to see opportunities rather than limitations.

We are seeking a new colleague with an average weekly work time of 5 hours, starting 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible by agreement.

The working hours will include day and evening shifts. The position is generally with shifts every 3rd weekend. Working hours on day shifts are from 08:00 to 15:24 and on evening shifts from 13:00 to 20:24.

For the positions the following duties apply

• Cleaning in clinics and wards
• That you are willing to perform patient-related tasks such as positioning and mobilization as well as patient transport and A-gas
• Perform kitchen tasks as well as service tasks in the department
• That you are aware of the high hygiene requirements
• Handle a varied workday with peak loads
• Handle/evaluate the individual tasks
• That you are highly collaborative
• That you have a positive attitude to challenges and changes

• Can work independently, but also in teams, where we focus on a good patient pathway including being able to participate in the task solving in wards
• Service-minded
• Extremely reliable
• Flexible and adaptable, including being able to help across departments
• Used to operating a PC, smartphones, etc.
• Can prioritise tasks in pressurized situations
• It is a requirement that you speak and write good Danish (i.e. at least FVU Danish - passed at level 3), which is necessary to complete the service assistant training if you are not already trained.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. A probation period of the first three months of employment is expected. Employment is conditional on a satisfactory child certificate.

Fine print

The employment is governed by the Agreement on wages and terms of employment for vocationally educated service assistants, unskilled service assistants and service assistant apprentices, entered into between Danish Regions, 3F and FOA. Pension contributions are paid to PensionDanmark unless you declare in writing to Aarhus University Hospital that the contributions should be to the PenSam group. For service assistants who have a pension arrangement in PensionDanmark, 3F has negotiation and agreement rights. For service assistants who have a pension arrangement in PenSam, FOA has negotiation and agreement rights.

If you are under 23 years old, the employment will, however, be in accordance with the Collective Agreement concerning wages and employment terms for cleaning assistants.

The position is essentially a part-time position.
