Customer Service Assistant at BOFA's Recycling Center in Vestermarie

If you are interested in recycling and the green transition, BOFA needs new colleagues at our Recycling Center in Vestermarie.

Bornholm has a vision to become the world's first waste-free society, where all waste should be reused. BOFA therefore seeks an employee who in word and action will be part of the team and part of “BORNHOLM SHOWS THE WAY – without waste 2032”.

As a service employee you will, among other things, perform

• operation of a rubber-tyred loader/telescopic handler
• operation of the press for plastic/paper etc.
• cleaning/maintenance of machines
• security shredding
• contact with transporters and receiving facilities
• re-sorting of waste in case of gross missorting
• maintenance of surrounding areas
• regular, ad hoc work at BOFA

We expect that you

• communicate in a friendly manner
• are service-minded towards citizens and colleagues
• are autonomous in your work
• have a clean criminal record
• sign a confidentiality agreement
• are willing to collaborate with other departments at BOFA
• speak, read and write Danish
• have knowledge of IT and standard software at user level
• have a valid driving license (at least category B)
• have a telescopic loader certificate Not required
• have a forklift certificate Not required
• are flexible, stable, positive and have plenty of “go-getter” attitude

What is BOFA?

BOFA is Bornholm's waste company, owned by the Bornholm Regional Municipality. We handle the Bornholm household waste, as well as a portion of commercial waste. In addition, BOFA operates the island's six recycling centres, the landfill and the incineration plant in Rønne, as well as the recycling centre in Vestermarie. BOFA employs about 60 employees. Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local wage formation.

A criminal record check will be obtained upon employment.

A category B driving license - ordinary car - is a requirement.

The position is 37 hours per week.
