Staff sought for short evening shift with kitchen function at Skovvang Nursing Center.

Skovvang Nursing Center is seeking as of December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible a fixed evening shift in a 5-2 rotation. The shift time is 15:00-20:00 and you always work Wednesdays and Thursdays as well as weekends in even weeks.

The position consists of a combination of kitchen and service tasks as well as presence with the residents. You are responsible for preparation and presentation of meals, table setting, clearing away and cleaning. At the same time you help create a cozy and homely atmosphere around the meal, where there is room for conversations, togetherness and residents' active participation.

If residents wish, you can involve them in small tasks such as table setting, plating or other practical chores, so the meal becomes a shared experience and supports each resident's resources and independence.

About us

Skovvang Nursing Center is one of the four nursing centers in Allerød Municipality and consists of 60 somatic nursing home places distributed across three departments.

You will be assigned to a fixed department with 20 residents, whom you get to know well. Therefore we are looking for a staff member who thrives on building relationships and who wishes to be a visible and present part of the residents’ daily life.

As an evening shift with kitchen duties you will often be the first face residents, relatives and guests meet when they enter the department. Therefore we emphasize that you are welcoming, helpful and contribute to everyone feeling welcome.
